Any one watch Killer Tanks on Discovery History channel ?

Very informative and seems to me some of the Tanks in game are not on a par with the real thing.

Stock Panther in this game was the actual Panther in World War II. And it was one of the, if not THE MOST effective and fearsome tank of the World War II.
In the game, stock Panther is hooooorible. Elited Panther is also not all that great.

Reallife panther was up against Shermans though, Tier 7 vs. Tier 5...

Screw tiers, that is reserved for the game. TIME! Time is what matters in real life, no matchmaker there.
And they still could have made Panther a better in-game tank than it is. They have no excuse.

That's what I meant, IRL Panther tanks were up against stuff that ingame is a much lower tier. Many tier 7 tanks were of much later in history, and were specifically made to deal with tanks like the panther and tiger. If you'd make WoT historically correct, panthers would be up against much weaker tanks which would totally unbalance the game, hence they've been moved up.

Churchills are some of the most powerful tanks in the game, But in real life the crews put sandbags round the turret to protect from small arms fire (rifles etc)
