Hello Everybody!

I've just read the patch changes and saw something awesome (after my opinion)

Following vehicles were designated as ‘Scouts’:
USSR:
T-50
T-50-2
Germany:
Pz38nA
Luchs
VK 16.02
VK 28.01
Auf_Panther
USA:
M24 Chaffee
T21
T71
France:
ELC AMX
AMX 12t
AMX 13 75
AMX 13 90
China:
M5A1 Stuart
59 16
WZ 131
WZ 132

Note that the M5 stuart is not a designated scout anymore! :D So if you like the M5 Stuart but hated the MM this a quite a nice surprise :)

To the battlefiled :izmena:

It seems a bit odd, to be honest as it's more of a scout than some of them.

Anyway as I read it the matchmaking is unchanged, just that it doesn't get counted as a scout when they attempt to balance the scout numbers.  Which doesn't make sense either because it's a perfectly viable scout...................

I have already grinded my sorry but through that tank. I'm verry staid to see it not being a scout any more, because i have waisted extra time on this tank that i only wanted to grind because i wanted to get throug tho net tanks above.

If it was given standard tier 4 MM the it would be a seal-clubber. It's an awesome tank.

Yes I agree, a bit odd. Still gotta love it if it is not gonna be placed as a scout anymore.

Sometimes, when I see how WOT works, I start thinking what they are trolls.. Finally I decide to start grind path to T69

I, II, III tiers was fast grind and when I buy M5 Stuart, I thought nice little scout with good view range  :bush:

I put on it all required for scout modules and impatiently wait for my first scouting ride! But what I got...

MM mainly drop it between 4-5 tiers tanks, there my scouting abilities are useless because of 2 reasons..

- I can spot enemies all day long, but in such low tier battles lemmings are brainless and dont even understand word "tactic"
- Scouts fight is not fun at all. Usually in such low tier ~half team are scouts other half rapid shooting enemies tanks

So far so good.. Have already 15 battles and my W/L ratio on it crappy 33%!!! (my global 54%). From all this 15 batlles, only once I was dropped between tier 8 tanks and it was amazing match. We won mainly because of good scouting (200 damage and ~4500 damage upon detection). After match, I was in first place and got 1000 XP (without premium). It is such big pleasure to play with scout against higher tiers tanks, because in such tiers team mates usually understand how important is scouting!

Why MM decides what M5 Stuart stuart is NOT A SCOUT?! It is so lovely scout with nice view range, but MM drops it as usual tank, where he dont have any possibility to use it advantage..

WG please fix MM for that tank..

I'd kill to have MM like that. Strap the 75mm howitzer to the M5 and derp all those low tier newbies in one shot.

Let me get it right, you actually complain about MM putting you in tier 4-5 battles? The Stuart is amazing when top dog, even against tier 5. The 75mm Derp is great against small noobish targets, and u can carry some HEAT for flanking KV's and such.

Just play it like a brawler against low tiers, it's very fun.

I already sold it.. Its have great potential as passive scout (or even active), but MM screw it up..
It have much lower damage output and penetration, than average its tier tanks.. Nothing fun in low tier battles to hear same melody: bounce, hit, penetration - 0 damage :)

Already got M7 and enjoy it! It have enough fire power to fight in his tier (ofcourse KV-1 is pain in ass), but also can be very useful as scout in higher tier battles

Eh, i duno what to tell you guys but I have one at the moment and it most definitely still gets me into tier 8 games since the patch. Maybe they just left it off the list?

I think something has been changed, now M5 Stu gets more tier 4 battles where it owns hard (got steel wall with it once) but sometimes it also gets to tier VIII battles too.

Can't say I notice anything wrong with its match-making. It's pretty mixed ranging from tier 4 to 8. Though I think tiers 6 and 7 might show up a little bit less than the other tiers. Perhaps tier 5 and 8 are more densely populated on the server? Or perhaps some weekend or midweek specials led to more people playing certain tiers.

I re-bought it about 50 games ago and I for sure see way more tier 4/5 games than the first time I had it (before the latest patch). It is good because before the patch I struggled with it, even with a decent crew and equipment passive scouting was tough in high tier games.

Now, I really am enjoying this, and the xp gain per battle is decent enough to make the grind to Chaffe tolerable.

The 75 on this tank is now totally useless. Most tier 1 guns do more damage. Shooting Luchs for 17 damage is pretty pathetic.

You say its not a scout anymore I've seen plenty of none platoon games over the last week where I have been placed in Tier 8.

The M5 is an old news tank. I don't expect any improvements ever.
