Don't know where else to put this post, so trying with "Off-Topic".

Basically, I am looking for recommendations for literature and movies starring.. yes, you guessed correctly: tanks! :)

My personal recommendations would be:

1. Best book:
Last Citadel: A Novel of the Battle of Kursk by David L. Robbins.
Historical novel based on the Battle of Kursk, as the title suggests. Main characters are a crew of a T-34-75 and a Tiger commander. The story culminates at good old Prokhorovka.
Highly recommended and well-written. I got mine on Kindle, in English. Don't know if it is translated into other languages.

2. Best movie:
The Beast of War (1988), starring George Dzundza, Jason Patric and a T-54/55.
Soviet tank crew gets caught behind enemy lines in Afghanistan. Lots of tank details.

Also, the Soviet movie Liberation has tons of nice tank action in Part I which is mainly focused on the Kursk campaign. It's "oldies but goodies" (shot in 1969).

Anyway, let's have your recommendations! :)
