What's this talk about "being listed as top tier vehicle" in the video? When is that supposed to happen in a light tank that - as a scout - always gets matched to higher tier vehicles? Didn't find anything about the already powerful T71 getting better matchmaking than others.

I think I'll have to go down this line. The trouble is things very rarely play out like the vids.

It has a MM of a tier 8 medium tank and as such it gets in T8 battles. I guess that is what he meant as "being listed as top tier vehicle" in the video.

"When attacking remember the basic strategy of shooting armored vehicles from the sides or rear not the front where armor is strongest" - that's what he said.
"Nah I just use gold ammo and shoot at the general direction" - that's what 80% of the players said.

Got this tank a few days ago and absolutely love it. It's the first auto-loader tank I've played so maybe it won't be so incredible for people who've driven French tanks a lot.

I go for the aggressive mid/late game approach. Usually just sit there in a bush for the first few minutes then when I see a gap I'll slip through going from cover to cover taking pot shots at whoever I can see. The tank has terrible accuracy on the move it seems so you have to stop to shoot everything unless you're super close I've found.

I use the normal ammo as I need to save credits atm. But the HEAT ammo does look very juicy as fairly often you get weird bounces on even lightly armoured tanks. This is probably just the bad accuracy veering shots off onto extremely angle armour plates though.

On another note the grind on it is the easiest I've EVER had on any tank. I was having so much fun on it I didn't even notice I had 40k experience banked up already  :teethhappy:

For Skills and Perks the commander has Recon listed.
Shouldn´t he better take Situational Awareness since it gives more viewrange ?

With no Radio Operator on this tank he should be able to learn it.

Otherwise very good video - as mentioned above the shortcuts are very useful.

Nice video, T71 must be someone's favourite at WG. It is the 3rd T71 video in a few month.

Thanks for this video, but you made some mistakes like always. One of em - gun dispersion 0.38 (score 2) and later you mentioning that gun is accurate, no sense  :amazed:  (accurate guns up to 0.35 isn't it?) Or another in Himelsdorf - all scenes was from bottom base but tactical schemes was from top base its confusing  Redshire T71 as the top tank and boom is7 with Patton and 121 pushing line

Yes video are good and helpful.

What's the point to use binocular telescope as the equipment for T71? (isn't it ventilation + optics almost the same? its like 5-10 meters difference?
With Situational Awareness (crew skill) it would be same as with binocular telescope, right?
Crew skills - why Smooth Ride and Snap Shot isn't together (picked in different order, not at the same time)?

This is funny, amx 13 90 was too strong for tier VII so it was moved to tier VIII... but then, some time later, they introduce the same tank (minor differences) and puts it into tier VII, where it NOW fits. But what about AMX 13 75 that is in the same tier, but is somewhat slower with worse manouverability, worse gun ( pen, acc, aim time- its not written but its true) and LESS AMMO (that is one of the major differences) So, I really dont understand this case, we now have 2 same tanks, but one is obviously better and please, dont start with "T71 is larger or something like that) Ok, I have unleashed my anger on this case for now. I hate it since the T71 was introduced.

WG drunk and stuff, making excellent vids and stuff.

Really nice in-depth vid that explains everything nicely, with great visuals and good audio (though on the stat segment, some things were slightly off).

The tactics were a nice touch as well.

Also, the speaker they used was one of the better ones. I can not stress enough, how important it is for the speaker to be a neutral english speaker, with a good pacing in his sentences.

It's a tank that takes a bit of skill to use that's for sure. I found that I crashed it more than usual as I'm used to medium tanks with a bit more weight! Good guide that will help AMX 1375 or 1390 players also.

Thnx for the vid, I really like this tank and prefer it to its AMX equivalents. For me its a keeper, while the AMX 13-75/13-90 are just a step towards the batchat for me ...

Basically it's a video on why the T71 is superior in pretty much all aspects to the AMX 13 75, including the vertical stabilizer. I recall the dev team saying in a Q&A (when the new line of american light and medium tanks weren't out yet) that the french autoloader lights didn't get a vert stab because of the oscillating turret. I understand that the T69, Lorraine 40t, batchat, T57, T54E1 and other tanks are getting this piece of equipment because they are not light tanks, but the T71 can ??? Please WG, at least make it so that the AMX 13 drivers can mount a vertical stabilizer on their tanks, it's only fair.
