Well I have a cheap £8 keyboard and finally it is showing it's age with keys that don't work and keys that are 'stuck'. I have to use an onscreen keyboard to type some letters, 'B' 'N' 'D' etc. I have even had to change buttons in game to compensate for keys that don't work well. I cannot use most my WASD keys for example, instead I have to use Q, A, S, and F to move.

So I am now looking into my wallet to buy a new keyboard so was wondering if you guys have any recommendations. I play quite a lot of online games so I want a sturdy keyboard that looks pretty good and is a decent size. My budget is around £40-£50 (50-60 Euros).

Thanks in advance.

At work I use a wireless Microsoft Comfort 5000 keyboard
It works well for general office work, Auto-CAD and lunchtime tanks  :smiles:

The mouse has additional buttons on  the side that are useful, but the wheel is the smooth roller type.....I would prefer the wheel with ratchet as this is better for zooming in and out for me.
Shift key on the keyboard is a little small, but other than that it's good and has a lot of extras
I think we paid around £45 in Currys

Hope this helps

This 7 Euro bad boy has gone trough many beatings in last year. I am using this with my laptop, because I started to fear that I could hurt the laptop in another rage-quit. Besides it has a very useful (not for gaming) button for direct calculator launch. What can I say... the best buy for about 7 Euros.

What I am really trying to say is that, if you are not earning money with professional gaming, than accessories like keyboard, will improve your performance by 0,2% (which might be very important to pro players). I got my badass almost 58% WR and "long" WN6 with a 7 euro keyboard, 13 euro mouse (Logitech M235) and a slow ass laptop (I am playing on really low settings, my tanks don't even have shadows). It's all about skill and brain.
It's like in cycling; you can give an average Sunday-cyclist Fabian Cancellara's bicycle, but he won't be moving any faster.

At least, if I had spare 60 Euros, I would definitely find a better way of spending them.

I would recommend a mechanical keyboard,these keyboards are beasts.big,durable,you can re-program keys...
This one>>>Logitech G110 Gaming<<<<<<,I don't know how much does it cost in your country.
But,if the G110 is too expensive, you can go with: SpeedLink DarkSky LED,it's a slim illuminated keyboard.I use it myself and it's very good.

Have fun searching :D

Lol, the ldc on g510 is completely useless, you watch the screen, not the keyboard while you are playing. Wasted money in this one.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! However I do not want a wireless keyboard, never seen the point in them they only seem like frustration to me. The G510 looks out of my budget so I am looking towards the G110.
