Yes, and if their crops spread to another farm that don't use Monsantos they can force that farmer to pay fines for using their patented crops.

...which they will most likely start to do on purpose a few years down the line. Now that is a conspiracy theory worth talking about.

They have already done this and do it often...just Google, here's one of the first......http://en.wikipedia....Percy_Schmeiser ...just from wind blown seed onto another farmers land. Crazy as it may seem Monsanto won the case but the farmer basically gave them and the courts the two fingers...and who could blame him.
I'd do the same.

Thanks for the read. Ive read up on a couple of other cases in the US, but as far as I am aware these practices have not been deployed in Europe yet. As sadistic as it may sound, there is no hope for North America now. They've got most farmers by the balls. Furthermore, most of their livestock is fed GMO plants. Key executive positions in the FDA are occupied by ex-execs from Monstanto, and quiet a few ex-execs form FDA are now working for Monstanto.
In my country, the law forbids any GMOs within 30km diameter from natural crops. This pretty much covers the whole country. However, why do we have this text, and not a simple "GMO plants are banned. period."? So, they cant operate in my country, but they have an office for more than 10 years now. Go figure.

Luckily, we have some smart and insightful Scandinavians that may well be our saviour one day. The Svalbard Global Seed Vault:

I will share this here in Finland many places, medias and others instances. This must be stopped.

One former Nestle ceo suggested that water should not be human right and it should be privatized. Well, we have thousands of lakes here in Finland..

F**K these greedy multinational companys!
