I have certainly noticed alot more people penning mine in recent games. I honestly thought players were fools for aiming (frontal) anywhere other then the very top of the turret. Then was like "WTF!" when shots to my mantlet were penned. Seeing this, it makes more sense but how the hell can a tank consistantly aim a shot there especially if you are both moving about?

By autoaim. Autoaim sticks to turret ring

You can see, that those hits where shots that have been deflected from your gun mantlet down through your top hull armor, which is not reinforced.

Easy problem to solve...don't elevate your gun when somebody shoots at you...you remove spaced mantlet armor protection.Besides I always shoot turret cheeks and turret ring when possible, very easy to pen.

I know that.. but thats not the point of the image, the topic title may be misleading a bit. Seen that alot recently, lol. But its a nice mechanic actually.

I only elevated it to to make a screenshot, they somehow managed to hit this tiny spot twice under normal combat circumstances...

U dont even need autoaim. Players are too stupid to press wsad and go back ... And Autoaim doesnt change spread.
