Hey, team-mate, WTF?
Lord_Demon
I was in a light tank, El halluf, going down from the starting area to spot when I got a "Lord_Demon, follow me" message from our arty, who then proceeded to stay in the base as arty should. That was quite a WTF moment.
I think the operation of the radial system confuses people. He propably wanted to say attack, but happened to have my tank in sights, so accidentally did this.

A tier 7 French arty shooting my M103 in the back and hitting my ammo rack / engine and tracks in the process right from the first 30 seconds of the game. Crippled me pretty badly and I only got 600 credits as a refund for the damage he inflicted.

I'll go one better than that, team-mate in T34 I'm in and IS-3 and we are defending the A2 spot in El Hajjuf. after a few mins trading fire with enemy he turns his tank around and reverses out towards them... dies quickly.
I ask him 'why did you drive out backwards?'
him - 'They had shot me in front and dmg'd my armour but back armour was still perfect so I use that to take hits noob'
words just failed me....he did have around 400 games played total though and thought it a good idea to go grab a T34....

And that's why the T8 prem should be restricted for players who have a regular t8 researched & bought.

Move into a sniping bush with my T-54, waiting for the enemy to appear. Alone in my flank, so I'm hoping just spot and they gtfo to defend in a better position.
Got with by my own arty, with no enemy in sight whatsover. Maybe he was test firing too.

Happens quite often, when my team is down to 3-8 or something similar, when they start giving out our positions.
This is very annoying if i'm still one of the few "retarded noobs" left alive still trying to do something about it. And if not that, they bash the leftover teammates for everything they do.
Some people just belong in the garage.

Like week ago:
Someone in another hellcat didnt know where to go so he/she decides to follow me in my hellcat at 1M distance,
then when I took position, stayed right in my LoF shoots asap evrything what could be shot before pulling out the same trick again.
after 5 min I had it all up to here so I tracked the other hellcat, fleed to see it follow me yet again and get killed by enemy
that instantly change my WTF to IYF

I had plenty of WTF moments.
a med racing across a nearby hill, driving straight into the trajectory of my SPG shell, I had no idea how I hit the guy on the hill in my own base, while I was looking at the opposing team.
now I had this several times with tanks pretty much parking on the wrong end of the SPG barrel for some unknown reason.
another WTF was a AT-2 charging across the middle of malikovka, problem was it actually worked, half the enemy team got vaporized before they finally managed to hurt the AT-2 consistent enough to actually kill it.
assault hummels and frenchies can also be fun to look at, especially if they get a lucky match and actually have success derping people all over the place

My apologises if i come off as a jerk but this guy messed me after the fight and i just couldnt shut up.
But first the backround: Im in my new shiny kv1s - stock turret and cannon at the east starting Point at el hallouf (tier 5-7 fight) ans as a responible Heavy i go to a2/3 to defend the advancing enemies - me alone with a 3001 doing our best while the entire team stands camping at base(figures...) I try and call for help (in vain) - and we can actually hold em off a lil while Before we get overwhelmed.
After i die i see our t29 standin on a Ridge on c7,and i tell him without any attitude - hey man we could have had use of ur help defending a2 - and the dude barfs real unpleasant stuff about not teaching him to play(fine - i hate armchair generals too) i stay "in" his tank and see him missing shot after shot after...well u get my Point...i hint that the t29 isnt really suited as a longrange sniper and he replies (one of many gems) "i dont want to hit them - i just want to scare them by almost shooting them".
I have a t29 and know what an impressive defender that they can be especially in a hill position such as a2 but fine we all use different tactic and thats ok.
but AFTER the fight he adds me and start to message - keep on Calling me noob and worse just as in the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, i here give you: "Mr Maus ELITE"
Sorry for the long read but yeh... I think this guy was the biggest jerk I´ve ever met in WoT - and ive had my fair share...

On Fjords, starting from the city side in the ELC, I went right to the lake edge, where It is a good spotting point to see what goes to the airpin. Spot I did, but before I had time to reverse to move on, a big IS decided he needed that place .... and pushed me off in the small lake from which I got killed trying not to drown ... I still wonder if he even saw me :p

Go and spend some shiney gold on a TOG2 - you will get enough WTF? moments from your teamates to justify the purchase within half a dozen games.
The red side chat coming across is also quite entertaining.

I suppose the next stage would be for both teams to batchat for 15 mins and see if some kind of resolution can be found, then there would be no need for the bloodshed. We can all play My Little Pony instead.

On El Halluf. Tier 8 Battle me in a KV4. Southwest base.
At the beginning i saw about 10 of my allies go to the northwest hvy chokepoint. I decided it would be best if i stay in base and defend. Standing on the ridge i managed to score 4 hits on advancing enemies at the water canyon. An ally T34 drives down the road on the right side and starts a brawl against an enemy Type 59 with about 700 hp left.
T34: "Help"
...
T34: "Help"
...
T34: Noobs
Me: You?
...
T34: KV4 you are a noob camper
...
T34: Noob team and lost round because of camping KV4.
Me: Don't think this round is lost.
T34: KV4 you are full of sh*t. Stop Camping.
Me: Ok!
At this time the T34 was still fighting the type 59 and he was about to lose against him. He hit the type once, the type shot him down to about 500 hp. I had killed 3 enemies in the central city and our heavy's were doing well at the chokepoint. So i decides to attack.
I drove down in the city and kept driving until i reached the other sides slope. From this spot i managed to kill a defending Jagdpanther and i saw that our T34 was still fighting the type on the road. I turned around and killed the type and kept driving uphill to the enemy base.
T34: All report KV4 for camping!
Me: You mean the KV4 storming the enemy base alone?
A quick view on the minimap showed that i was the only green point anywere near the enemy base.
I went for the arty and killed 2 of them securing the "Top Gun" Medal. After that i went for the cap circle, which was already occupied by some of our meds, that went through the left side with our heavy's. I saw, that he drove up the hillside were i was crossing to get to the circle.
T34: Ahh stock KV4 so you can't be good.
(The only module i was missing was the turret)
Me: Dude, slowly you are pushing me over the edge.
This was just one example of many events i could write down here.

These threads are endless, and pure gold
Just had a weird moment on El-Halluf. I'm in a KV1, toppish tier, and dutifully head off to the other side at A2 for the cookie-cutter heavy route. One of our teams two (low tier) arties is in front, so I think 'OK, he's gonna provide some up close fire support for the push up the hill, let's see how this pans out'. Things appeared to be not as they seem when he didn't stop in the valley. Nope, he planned to SPEARHEAD the push himself. Vaporised within seconds by the throng defending the top of course, but I was like 'Hey teamie, wtf?'
