I like WT. For me its 4358495 better than Wargamerish World of Woofplanes. Better optimalization, more planes etc ... Its not WG.

Funny because World of Tanks has been out of Beta for a long time now and still has bugs, a screwed economy and {Moderated} up reward system, a completely ridiculous RnG hit detection, awful matchmaking and unbalanced tiers. etc. etc.
Nice try.
There's no problem with the economy, premium shells doesn't go in that category, so what are you on about?
Reward system is quite perfect if you ask me. Do the right thing in the right tank and you'll be rewarded handsomely in every single battle you enter.
RnG, okay, I'll give you 1 out of 5.
Match-making has been fine since +2 battle tiers was introduced. You get into battles where you can always be of help. And the hardcap on arties is just WG being stubborn and 5 arty games usually end faster than other
Unbalanced tiers, it all comes down to the driver. Don't mention those few tanks, which seem out of place like the Comet(with no upgrades of any sort from it's tier 6 brother).

War Thunder Ground Forces does look good, I'll definitely give it a try, but if it's going for anywhere near the same accuracy with armor, slopes, spaced armor(which is a must for it to be a real tank game, you can't just ignore historical facts), then we'll see the exact same problems with Ground Forces, apart from maybe gold ammo being purchasable with credits.
In fact the only thing I need to know when I get a 0 damage penetration is WHAT did I damage? Some module which didn't lead to damage? Did the track soak it, just find some way of telling me, what I did, so I know what happened and I'll be a happy camper and just go "darn it, track soaked it. At least I know that's what happened!"

As long theres no gameplay we shouldnt judge anything. Even with some gameplay i refuse to say WT will be soooooooo much better.

WT is "Beta" since? And still full of bugs, unfinished FMs, screwed economy and reward system, lacking proper hit and ram detection, awful matchmaker, unbalanced tiers, etc, etc.

edit: Im using " for the Beta, cos its not even a proper Beta. The second you could spend your money it was already released.

Looks good indeed, as for War thunder as it is now, i find it more a good time passer, because planes are so boring in my opinion because you can flank without being seen way before you even get in around, but that is just my opinion.

As for the ground units, They look really good. but i dont start a new tank game from start. If i want to play tanks i play WoT.

War Gaming will be in big pressure, and i can see a engine overhaul in the distance. Because WTs graphics are so much better for less effort.

Ill sit and wait    And see how this goes down, maybe War gaming realises that they have been idiots in some areas  :harp:

I've read some of the threads on the NA forum and most people are really afraid (due to lack of information) of how bad it would be for them with planes flying above, worse than arty! Well just in case some of you might be thinking the same thing, the devs said that you will be able to choose tank vs tank battles, if you don't want planes to be involved. Also, and this is not sure, I think they'll stick with historical accuracy meaning tanks will only have the guns their respective variant was equipped with.

but Aslain ..... WT have no Mods (ok, looks good without Mods). The Gameplay of the Tanks .... we will see, in the moment we have only 3 Srcreenshots, But I hope they make it good.

I can see you are easily impressed just by few screenies.  Actually you have no idea how that game would be played.

And  WOT starting to loose battle against WT.  sorry but I didn't see that players online number decreasing.

don't let your hate blind you

War Thunder focuses heavily on historical accuracy, WoT may give 'realistic' armour slope and stuff, but at the same time fictionalises modules, buffs and nerfs and tanks have negligable accuracy at even 100 yards which is ridiculous
I think War Thunder will give tanks realistic engagement ranges which would be good, meaning German tanks won't suck, WoT murdered the Tiger I
War Thunder won't have made up tanks, at the moment the most made up they go is aircraft which flew as prototypes
I think War Thunder's economy is a lot better, atm in WoT the repairs are just far too high, the shell cost is ridiculous which ruined the game for me

If War Thunder is providing me with an experience similar to the tank combat in Red Orchestra, then I'm going to scrap my WoT-Account at once. Let's see what the future will bring.

after a month or so i just started war thunder again. and i remembered why i stopped playing it. it's the most ridiculously unbalanced multiplayer game i've ever played. i know it's still beta, but they have a really long way to go. if ground forces is anything like the air combat, i won't play it.
i give a d*** about historically accuracy. a multiplayer game needs to be balanced.

If WT ground warfare is going to be anything like the air combat "missions" it's going to be awesome!
I so do hope we also will have missions, dynamic campaigns and historical batlles for tanks as we do have for planes.

However, I think it will be a completely different game with totally different gameplay which will atract a different kind of player.
Unless hey are going to make the "tank only" batlles the same small map - close combat - tank shoot out WoT is.
