Looks promising except the last change with the aim stabilizer while on the move and on train tracks. I feel that it over-simplifies the game mechanics and that the game is slowly changing it's target audience, to people that like point and shoot games. Less tactical and more based on reaction speed.

the video promises a Chinese 112 and a German E-25 premium tank, but seems they're not available on the test server. did you forget to implement them?

From now on I'm calling the Excelsior "XL Sir"!  :teethhappy:
Does anyone even proof-read those translation? What if there are similar outrageous mistakes in more important parts of the vidio?

Also important question: Will TD exp increase by 33% or was there a reduction of 33% that is getting removed (as in it will actually get 50% more exp than now)? Same for arty: is it a 50% increase or a 50% reduction getting removed (100% actual increase)?

112 and E25 are realeased to supertesters this patch. They probably become publicly available in 8.7 (?). It seems the British tier 5 heavy premium (Excelcior) is being released in this patch though... and the American M4 premium is once again available on store (it's not been available since closed beta).

Should've muted the guy's original voice, it has no purpose it only disturbs. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the new patch ^^

increase of 33% or removal of 33% xp penalty is the same, right ? That being said, i believe you indeed get 33% + premium which means another 16.5% which gives a total of 49.5% increase XP for TD users.
But with the SPG where did you get the 100% actual increase ? it is 50% boost from the patch + 25% boost if you use premium account which gives 75% actual increase. IF i'm missing something please let me know , i am fairly new to this game i barely know the mechanics.

No.
If you started with 100% exp and you decreased that by 33% you are now getting 66% of base exp. If that gets increased back to the normal you will be getting 50% more than you used to, eg. 50% * 66% = 0.50 * 0.66 = 0.33 = 33%. And 66% + 33% = 100% again (with some rounding errors). I hope this explains it.

All fun and games, but why does WG change all the game mechanics every second patch? It's becoming a little frustrating knowing that after playing a game for almost two and a half years the game dynamics keep changing....

Less arty accuracy, more for the rest of the crowd; Potentially more credits without need of farming with lower tiers. For medium/heavy driver like me this sounds like a dream come true. That, and maybe if Tiger's armour could be a bit less useless, but I cant get everything at once.

Regarding gold ammo aka heat shells changes (SerB: "Introducing gold ammo for credits was great success", January 2013).

If those shells are going to get a nerf, I am giving ++ for that. It will bring back good old balance and make a game more interesting. Less pay-to-win, better the game.

Does the 10% boost in credits apply to the Lowe as well?

I'm happy with the increased armour effectiveness. Right now the armour on the Ferdinand is pretty much useless against any other tank of the same or higher tier -- and we're talking about a TD whose armour was pretty much unmatched throughout the war (well, maybe except for Tiger II).  So perhaps now it will bounce enemy shots a bit more often.

The changed camouflage mechanics could also prove good, we'll see about that.

I'm not sure about the increased accuracy of guns. I think it's all right as it is. Mind you, the fact that shells don't always land where we aim should represent much more than just statistical (Gaussian) distribution. In my opinion it also represents the effects of stress, tiredness, noise etc. on the tank crew, and many other factors that the game does not specifically account for (e.g., cross-winds that influence the shell flight path).

Accurate guns are already very precise as they are, if you increase accuracy it will basically take all the uncertainty away. Coupled with the gun stabilisation mechanism in the sniper mode, you are turning this game from something that has some semblance of reality into a point-and-fire arcade shooter for immature children who get unhappy and stomp their feet when they miss ;)

I've been playing this game on and off since the Beta and, being a WW2 history buff,  what I like it for most is that to a large extent it's pretty realistic (except for the OP'ed high-tier Russian shell-bouncers like the UFO, or T-54). If it becomes an arcade game I'll probably give it up.

My point exactly. No gunner can aim reliably while his tank jerks and jitters, it's just totally unrealistic. Even gun stabilisation systems only work to a certain extent.

As for the increased credits for high tiers, I think it's a good idea but it shouldn't apply to Premium tanks. They are money-making machines already.

I think I read somewhere that the 10% increase is for non-premium tanks only.
