Good evening!
I wanted to discuss the problem about cowards drowning their tanks to avoid paying for vehicle repair damage. How is that so, the vehicle is drowned, maybe even the crew. But still it doesn't cost you any credits/money. And upon damaging a drowned full health enemy artillery, i get no credit or credits for that. There were a couple of discussions on the SEA, North American forums, none here, so i decided to start one here, to hear what you think.

apparently you don't know that when you drown your tank (intentionally or not) you already pay FULL repair cost.
this problem has been fixed a patch or 2 ago ...

that there are still some guys thinkin that drowning themselfs is a good option can't be helped really

Less hits though... don't think it counts as a kill...

Definitely. Every player should fight to the last, deliberate self drowning is cowardly.

From an engineering viewpoint, it would still cost time, effort and money to recover a waterlogged vehicle.

Electrics (and nowadays electronics) don't tend to like water very much and would have to be dried / replaced. Hydraulic systems would need flushing. Engines don't like water in them (apart from water-cooling systems).

Pudding and tea would be written off, and the furry dice would need drying out.

It all costs money you know! :sceptic:

As long as you remember that drowning results in all modules being destroyed and thus higher repair costs. Also it robs the other team of kills, exp and credits which is kind of unfair IMO.

Those players just troll enemies since after drowning you can't get a kill.

i have intentionally drowned myself with amusing results a couple of times. Went into lake in grille and ended up with a hetzer jumping in to kill me followed by a t-34 to kill the hetzer. They both drowned with me.
