In celebration of hitting the 60 million registered players milestone, we've released a brand-new kick ass cinematic for World of Tanks

Check it out!

POPULAR

Great ... and the quality of players is inversely proportional.

Congratulations. But the number would be smaller if you decided to eliminate obvious EULA breakers (see Hall of Fame 101 battle accounts).

And while WG videos are usually OK, this one is horrible. The music is horrible.. I'm sorry if it offends people without taste and hearing who usually listen this, but to me, it's horrible. The setting is also horrible. What is that, post-apocalyptic world, but instead of Skynet we have WG.net tanks?

Looking forward to new patch though and I'm glad to see WG is making many improvements to the game. Many of which I didn't expect to ever see.

Kinda late i think....saw this vid 3 days ago on another site....and btw try to make the trailers at least as realistic as the game(if we can call it as realistic) because when they fire at the end there is no recoil and the suspension on the 2 shermans at the bridge is stiff steady....just some points in making the trailers more appealing .

The question is... "Will there be a special to celebrate?"

I like to think of it like the film "Maximum Overdrive" when machines come alive.  Except in this universe it's just tanks that have came alive and there is 2 factions fighting for control!  :great:

So we got registered 50 million bots and players which have played under 100 games? Rest 10 million are players, who played this game longer than 4 days. So... We got 10 million players registered so far...

Very nice - how many are active? By that I mean lets say, played in the last month?

Nice vid though

more vegetables in the game is a  WG success and players failure. We get nothing out of it, even weekend specials seems to be less valuable just because of rising popularity.

When the tanks stop at the top of the cliff in the video, I was half-expecting one to drive straight over the edge; "I KILL ARTY" appearing in the corner.

Meh...60 mil registered players is something....more valuable for promoting the game and advertising.

But what is needed to know is the number of active players.
As other stated, not needed to celebrate 60 mils since 50 of them are troll accounts(check hall of fame also check for swearing-name accounts), 0 battle accounts or accounts which are played once a month.

Congrats on the 60mil accounts world wide. Even if there are lots of inactive accounts (which is unavoidable for games that have run for years), it does show that WoT has definitely succeeded in creating buzz, capturing market share and delivering a popular and pretty accessible game. Now go and work on the next part of that tutorial so the nuggets are trained properly before crashing their tier 5s into each other :p

In celebrations of Quantity > Quality!!! :bajan: Wow, this is a real achievement. Us players benefit from this a lot.
