these tanks are in plain words not suited to the tiers they are given ,the tetrarch for instance is not much better than the tier one Vickers tanks just a tiny bit more armour and faster that's all one good hit and they are both toast .
if you are going to have tanks in tiers maybe the armour should be stronger every tier its go's into otherwise people will not buy the tanks and just stick to the standard ones .What's the good of paying cash for a premium tank if you get killed every time you use it with one shot sometimes either it should have better armour to give it survivability or keep it in a tier more suited to its strengths and weakness at least it will survive longer .The whole tier structure should be revamped so one tire doesn't play against another higher to give people chance to get used to the game and vehicles they are using without shooting peas at a higher tier tank when the gun is not capable of penetrating the shots

I've always heard that the Tetrarch was beastly (how do you have one with a 2013 account?) and additionally it can train 3 of 4 T-50/2 crew members whereas the T1E6 can only do 3 of 5 on Chaffee (Not to mention it feels bad to play).  :sceptic:

As an old, bold(!) Tet driver with a 59%ish WR after 250+ games; it's bloody awesome for it's tier when played right that can hit and pen most things it meets with a high ROF gun. Like a lot of light tanks a decent crew, binocs, camo, etc. make it into the 'beast' you've heard about  :blinky:

I don't tend to use it to train crews, just for fun though - but if you do, you are bound to expect a worse game with a crap crew foir a while.

I have the Trhee US Light Premiums and I don't really like the T1E6 but the T2 Light is fun enough and the Locust is a really good tank.

Thanks for the replies so far guys for a tier two tank it is frustrating considering some tier ones like the loltractor have more armour than a tier two tank .go figure makes you wonder who set the program details when wot was first conceived, must have had a good sense of humour .lol .
but seriously looking at the tanks in the game some standard and premium tanks are too low armoured for the tier they are placed in which means those who have to either work through them or risk cash and buy them are disappointed when they have so much promise yet don't deliver

Tetrarch doesnt need armor. It has speed and The Gun

Don't understand what you are really expecting from it

Aside from tetrach being a free tank, its quick, it has a great crew setup (commander driver gunner), and the gun cuts everything in its own tier, and the vast majority of tier 3 it encounters in half

If you were talking about the M3 Light (rare russian tier 3 light) I could begin to understand where you were coming from.. because that tank does not hold a candle to what the Tetrach is capable of

Armor is nice to have, but surely irrelevent given the low cost of sprem rounds in those early tiers, as well as the basic penetration on some of the british + french guns (power creep)
Its how wg counteracted the mini-maus (which is still an awesome tank! just not as much of a faceroll as it was before)

The T2 light is pretty fun, my only nags with it would be it is slightly out of its element in tier 4 games because of the view range, which slightly contradicts its purpose in games in its maximum battle tier range (spotting, as you'll have a difficult time penetrating anything which is not an spg in pure tier 4 games) Yes its quick but theres plenty of guns with the speed/reload to deal with that

Armor is not do all end all, least of all for light tanks
