The matchmaking system implemented through the 8.6 update is complete [edited].

Curious to know:

1.Why do you happen to be 80% of all matches played put in teams two tiers above you?
(This also occurs if you create a same tier, medium tank platoon)
Concluding with an example:  How come if you play with a Pz.III you end up in a match at whose top of the teamlist is a KV-1?
Do YOU think a silly Pz.III can actually do something to a KV?

2.Isn't "tier" just a fancy word for "level"? It's ambiguous.

3.Is the game really user-oriented or does it ultimately function as a reliable source of income for their creators?

This is the kind of things I think about when the power goes out. :-)

1a. I am pretty sure that even when the top tank is a tier5 KV-1, there will be other Tier 3 as well. People always think that there are only the top Tier tanks... just fight the other Tier 3 and the Tier 4. When you are done with them you can support the own Tier 5.

1b. Being put into hard situations forces you to learn weakspots and flanking tactics. You will Need this later.

1c: Killing tanks with a higher Tier than yourself gives more exp than killing one of the own Tier. So be happy about it ;)

2. Yes it is

3. Both. But in first place it is for WG's income, which is totally OK since they are providing a good game. On the other hand it is of course user orientated, otherwise they wouldn't have this huge player base.

3) This games main purpose is to generate money for the company, the same goes for pretty much all games out there.
