I saw 2 tanks shooting a teamplayer, so I shot them both. Then I get shot and reported for teamkill. I do not believe that is fair, for I am a teamplayer in all terms. I am very protective And will do my best to win with my assigned teammates. Team killing is not my M.O. and will never be. But my name is marked in blue in my garage and I do not appreciate that one bit. Team players judged me w/o having seen what happened. All they saw was my name in blue with a -2.

For team killers you have a report system. The Moment you shoot at them you are not better than they are. Shooting at Team members is forbidden in any case by the game rules!

If you read the game rules, it is even forbidden to shoot a teamkiller after he turned blue (even you won't have to pay compensation).

So don't risk a ban, just use the ingame report function (pressing CTRL, then right click on the name and use the complain menu). Maybe motivate your own and the enemy team to Report him too. After a couple reports the player will be banned for a while. This period of time he gets banned becomes longer everytime, so either he learns or he will be permanent banned after a couple times.

Yes, because when you say "Report this teamkiller please" the enemy teams is totally not laughing and saying "thanks, more pls!"

I used to go after team killers. Now I cant be arsed. Wg don’t take the problem seriously and the automatic system is undiscriminating. I did manage to drown one team killer last week. Pushing him in the water and seeing him struggling to get out was soooooooo satisfying.

Always kill blue players.
They are blue for a reson, and this reason has nothing to do with shooting teammembers by mistake. So, 95% time, you will be right.
If you are one of that last 5%, who turned blue by some unfortunate plot of circumstances - get your back together. It will be only for few games, and you will be back as before... just dont shoot your teammembers, again. Be more cautious.

Regardless what some other uneducated ppl posted, killing blue players gives NO penalty whatsoever, and is not against game rules.
The "blue" player system is intended to punish teamkillers, so use it.

Unless it's a stone called case of a purposeful team kill I leave them. You can tell from chat. The blue player might have just been defending themselves from a would be team killer etc. Chat gives you all the info. Even if it is a stone cold case there's still the dilemma of killing the blue. On the one hand can you trust them not to do it again and the other can your team win with another tank lost?

Thanks Guys! It makes me feel better. I haven't played since, thinking I was shunned. Even though I knew I did the right thing at the time. My garage still shows my name in blue, as some kind of reminder that I' ve been reported or maybe probation, idk. But if it stays much longer I will not play anymore. The last thing I need is a game to point their fingers at me. Especially being reported by people who never saw what went down. Have Fun and Good Hunting! :-)

Once had to resort to shooting an allied tank when he started crashing around ramming into everyone. He charged down a hill towards allied artillery with the intention of killing them by ramming. I fired 1 round which hit his track destroying it giving the artillery chance to move.

Wait until they turn blue and then MURDER their a$$es.  Otherwise don't even TOUCH them or you'll get reported/banned.

It's so annoying when they put one big shot into you. A T34 shot me in the back just as we where all moving out of base at the start of the match. 396hp off me before I'd even seen an enemy tank. Oh the joys.
