I just found THIS, they also planned that on E-100.
This is mere fantasy by Sebastian Nast. Sadly many people think this is real, you won't find a Maus variant or an E-100 with twin 8,8/l71 in any seroius work. It would be completely ineffective in the AA role btw. The turret has or would have had atrocious elevation and train rates, making tracking of low flying aircraft impossible. Furthermore the barrels can't elevate high enough to shoot at high flying bombers. Finally it lacks any fire control director and shooting with gun sights alone is a waste of time for heavy AA.
Even in WoT this tank would suck since the 8,8/l71 is not the best AT gun, a Tier 10 with 2 pea shooters is useless.
There was no Flakzwilling (for a tank), no E-90, no Adler Turm, no Panther III, no Schottpanzerung Neuer Art or everything else invented by Nast.

1: Yes, it would be more accurate to say that French tanks has been UNDERREPRESENTED, and not quite non-existent, in games. Nitpicking much?
2: There were some german tank design papers on truly huge tank designs, at least some in order to use cruiser turrets on cruisers that were never going to be completed. The designs - landkreuzers (ratte, e.g.), were abandoned as a waste of resources. Don't even suggest those in-game, please.
3: France and Britain developed tanks during WW1 - it was their 'secret weapon' to end the trench warfare, and gave both Britain and France a significant head start in Tank technology - and a significant disadvantage in how they expected tanks to be used. Still, French tanks were better and more modern then, and their addition sounds quite exciting.
Well, sort of, at least.

It's kind of strange
- some complain about fantasy tanks like that E100 twin 8.8 Flak (which would be of absolutely no use in the game).
- on the other hand we get a french tech tree full of fantasy tanks
- the british tank tree is delayed although there are quite some british tanks in the game and it sure would have been easier to complete this tank tree
I don't get that

Are you 100% sure this was a planned version?
If so, then DO WANT
If so, then DO WANT
since the guns are mounted so high in the turret ithink you will regret having that, since you wont be able to shoot at anything in this game since the guns probably cant go lower than 0° which will make it useless in thise whole close combat gameplay and the non existent trajectory will make it fly over every enemy in this game also whats the use of 2 88L71 which combined do the same damage as the 128mm, but have 40mm less penetration and double the chance to bounce in other words , its entirely pointless

Ditto. The French were knocked out of the war very quickly, most of their new designs weren't even off the drawing board, let alone the production line. I fail to see how adding somewhat limited French armour ahead of British is a logical approach, I can only assume that some of the dev team prefer French tanks (no idea why).

Marketing? They will be able to announce new tanks from a leading WWII nation after a year or so, will attract a second wave of customers.

Same goes for the upgrade of the Char B1 Bis. Most new modern french airplanes where already deployed, but in very limited numbers.
If vichy france never existed, and the army did what it planned to do=A full evacutation to French algeria.. they would have captured North africa in no time, and there wouldnt even be a Deutsche africa corps.
Imagine if they set up factories there, and The united states provides them with the raw materials.
My god WW2 would have been so diffrent.

Actually, most new french tanks where just about to enter service. The char G1 had finished its prototype trails just when the war ended for france. That tank alone, would have dominated the entire german army.

Yes, the planes would have made a huge difference! D520, Br693, LéO 45, and VG33 or even VG39/39-bis (1600hp in a ultra-light fighter, 1x20mm HS canon & 6x7.5mm MAC34... ouch
There were also prototypes of advanced armored cars, like the Panhard 201 : 60mm of front armor, 37mm SA38 for a top speed of 80km/h

can we have it in game? pleaaase

I don't know if this question is mentionet and since sugestions it is locked i would like to ask if there will be in the reashrch tree be added side plates(scirts)for the tanks. This thing is probubly mentioned but i just wana be informed. And i read about the armored viechles that there won't be any.I'd like to know why.French and espesialy german armys had very big nuber of armored cars and halftracs. They could be added as tirers up to 3or four. Most of them have good arnament and armor and if the inffantry will be added later the halftraks will do a big part by transporting them to critical locations. For ex.a halftraks could cary a squad of antitank inffantry and deply them on weaker locations if needed.
Sry. i know this is out of this topic and maybe to late to ask but i wana be informed

Have a look at the Questions & Answers topic
The devs have said that in the future it will be possible to buy side plates as a module for your tank. And they also said there would be no wheeled/half-track vehicles in WoT.

As a french I can't wait to roll the french tanks, i think that there will be a bit less of french bashing when people will get shot by 6 warm shells in less than 15sec.
And their look is completely refreshing and modern.
