Adding rubber to the wheels is a standart procedure to lenghten the track life, so you could change tracks less in time. nothin special
...but thoose really look like normal car tires.
They are. To my knowledge they we're added to reduce weight when the french army wanted a 40 ton tank instead of the 50 ton AMX-50. Seemingly i didn't save the design from cancellation though.

The medium french line is now renamed to LIGHT french line, because from tier 2 to 9, it has only 2 mediums.

Most WWII historians agree that the average number of types of French medium and heavy tanks
were better than the German ones (as many British and Chech too).
What French and British tanks did not have was the new tactics Germans developed (under their
colaboration with Soviets between 1936-1938).
Packs of Germans tanks fould lonely French and British ones and that is why french lost so many
tanks despite the fact that they had more than Germans.
French used Tanks as mobile close combat artilery (suport tanks) merging small numbers of them
with infantry battalions.
So in conclusion French tanks must be (when imported in game)slightly better than German ones in the early stages
of the war (1939-1940).

Tactics, training, the experience gained in Poland and proper air support. That's what won teh day for Germany.

Ah never mind i see the R35 on another page however it lists the AMC 35 as a light tank? Anyone care to straighten things up here?

Forgive me if I chuckle here but the French had all sorts of various tanks in use at the outbreak of war in 1940. The AMC-35 was a 'cavalry' tank, the R35 was a reconnaisance tank and the H-35 (H35, H35/38 & H35/39) doubled as infantry support tanks, reconnaisance tanks & 'cavalry' tanks. The FCM-36 was used in limited numbers as an infantry support tank. The last of these 'light tanks' is the AMR-33, which was a machinegun armed 'cavalry'/reconnaisance vehicle - it was horrifically outmatched by 1940.

Fact, 1940 the French army had the best pool of tanks in Europe (3700), GB in France (300), Belgium (100) and 12500(!) 75mm anti-tank guns, also 5 guns against 1 tank.
The quality of the French tanks was better as the German tanks, sadly the tactics was from WWI. Tanks have to support infantry -end-.
A french officer said:-" Whe have 1000 x 3 tanks, the Germans have 3 x 1000 tanks."
A nice award but in reality the Germans doesn´t attack so strong, they infiltrate the ennemy line with 20-50 tanks and make their job. The first asymmetrically war in the world.
The reaction of this tactic was nuts, because the French staff always think they must be careful because they are in a very strong position (WWI mentality).
The "Blitzkrieg" only works because they were of opinion Hitler is an ugly coyote who´s only attack the weak.
It was a failure.

Fast, agile and sleek with revolver loader.

Must has! Finally a medium tank that can be used on clan wars besides T54
