Heh, but they had to translate it to 90000000000000000000000000000000000000000 languages, that clearly took so many days... not.

At least stage 1 had something exciting about it, but the rest of this circus is pretty lame unless you're part of the very most professional clans...
Obviously good clans has to be rewarded, but the last 2-3 stages are a waste of time for everyone else

Didn't need a crystal ball to work the results out. Most are all in the same pact with land and battles secured by prior arrangement...

Could not agree more. I really had high hopes for this new format. Unfortunately this competition had very little to do with battlefield performance. It was much more about securing victory through diplomatic negotiations. That really killed all the fun in CW.

nah, it is bat crap boring all around. Nothing to do. Cant wait till the end so we can go back to jumping all over the map evicting random clans.

start of stages ie; stage one brought a little fun and excitement back into the game and it was nice to see all the less well known clans getting there names on the map at least once now as we all can see its all about the top clans/semi professional clans and biggest clans just as everyone predicted even before the advent of campaign. as usual a good idea ruined by wg and turned into a circus where only before mentioned clans have any say in the game and any chance of winning. so for me its +1 for idea -2 for implementation.

That fits it up pretty good.

It was/is a pretty good idea. Too bad some things ruined it totally or it would have been a very excited and interessting campaing all over the time, but that way i think the charme was gone after first stage with many clans just resigning and giving up.

And no, i have nothing against these top clans have the win at the end, they are indeed the top clans on EU Server, no doubt on this. But at least it could have been done a bit more interesting with other Clans having at least a little mega mini chance at all.

All i hope is that the campaign comes again and principially in intervalls, but of course with improved rules, improved missions, improved everything as the basic idea is indeed great and just something worth participating.

Just my 2 cents, not that it matters at all, lol.

Aye the idea was very good, a way to allow the 'not so professional' teams to have a chance to participate in something that is normally decided by a few top clans that have the resources to attract the better players. That is not to say everyone else is crap, that is not the case, but it allows them to attract the 60% w/r players and have super efficiencies etc. you know the ones, the ones who can afford to enter every standard battle with premium rounds, who can pay to swap crews over to whatever vehicle to make sure they have the best chance of winning (training / retraining still costs gold). I realise that now consumables and ammo can be bought with credits and has helped level the playing field somewhat, its still drains those credits quickly and cannot be sustained for long periods.

Anyway this leads me onto an idea for CW matches only and that is to stop the use of premium rounds, that way armour does make a difference, people do need to aim for weak spots or think about flanking actions rather than the normal 12 x IS7 (or similar), rushing, firing premium rounds on the move.

I am sure some of you will have your own ideas about this too, do you think this will work for instance?

Haack

LOL, where have you seen a clan with 12x IS-7 in CW battle? i would gladly have such a mindless opponent:) Mass rushing never works vs a good commander who knows what to do, now imagine those IS-7s hitting a wall of 6 E5s, 1 TD and then 5-6 batchats getting on their ass... BOOM cleaned up no IS-7s after 2 minutes;)

Thats why I said or similar. Of course you get different mixes of tanks. I just did not want to write every variation possible. I was purely commenting on the use of premium rounds and the fact they negate most Armour. Particular tactics may help but I doubt a commander would have all his forces ready in the right location every time if the enemy rushed.
