Hi all !
I was wondering why do you need to shoot dow wooden fences and walls before you can hit the enemy?

It is easier for the server load to let them insta-stop a shell rather than calculating the penetration loss and flying angle changes to the shells hitting a wall etc.

on a side note: you can sometimes shoot trough them without actually breaking them and hit the tank behind them, it's rather inconsistent.

Most wooden fences do not influence tank shots, stone walls do stop them completely though.

I think he means it theoretical.

Here is the reason: Because the fences and walls are made of kryptonit. But because it is unstable it bursts easily after one hit of a 57mm gun.
Even today WG researchers try to find out how the antic ppl of WW2 got the knowledge of such technology.
Since WG likes realism, they didn't hesitate to put in such a remarkable feature.
