Hi,

http://allegro.pl/pa...3356782197.html

maybe Wargaming wants to buy a "brand new" PzKW Panther - directly from the lake? ;-) Quite interesting "offer of buying" appears in Polish sell-buy site called Allegro.pl.

In short - the guy want to sell position of 4 drowned German vehicles (probably in the lake); he also tells, the "precious" belong to Poland state, but as he talked to state officials, they will share the finding with the person who pull it out (and pay for that) ;-)

Price is rather low for that - about 120 000 USD; and about 500 000 USD as he estimate for rebuilding the Panther to "brand new state". I think not much originals Panthers survived WWII - so Wargaming could have one ;-))

cheers,
Rafal.

Interesting. There's only around five panthers in running and restored condition at the moment aint their? (all in private hands too methinks)

So the logic of the buying is, the person who pulls them out would get two of the panthers, and the state the other two? amusing

actually, the current state of law in Poland is that all is under ground - belongs to state (past communist law). Not change after Berlin wall and communist governments falls ... Anyway - it's in some lake but Polish state don't know where. The guys know directly; state official said : if you pay for getting it out, you can take half (actually - probably 2 panthers, the Sd.Kfz.251(???) and normal truck). So one Panther can be taken - and eventually 251. Anyway - the Panther smells good. The state normally tells you - all is ours! but this time they don't know where is the key to the box, and don't have money to pull it out. So private investor is welcomed ;-)
