Finally I can get Scout medals on the Chaffee because there's no longer some pillock in a T-50-2 that suicides into the enemy spawn every match.

with a 76mm, it would be ok....but cant solo a T21, vk801, 59 16, i get destroyed....and retaliate with my poor 57mm, can"t win...
Funily enough I've changed my playstyle a lot from 50-2 times, I'm now running the MT-25 with.... 37mm automatic. It's a very nasty surprise for light targets like the T21 and amx12t.

ohhh, might be interesting , more effective than the 57mm? reload? overall damage? short range or u can launch a shot at 250/33

interested in your feedback :)

Better than the 57mm at light targets, 30 round drum before the very slow reload, 40 damage a shot but the pen's a bit low, autocannon so 300m max range. In a straight DPS fight with a T71 he'll just about kill you in time but be crippled. T21s, AMX 12ts and Hellcats if you can keep your aim at their hull get shredded very quickly. Certain TDs are quite vulnerable to it as well, soloed an AC 48, though it took 2 drums to do.

I liked the t50-2, and i understand why they removed it because it was a little OP in speed/turning. When the t50-2 got replaced with the MT-25 i had my doubts. It is still not a bad tank but the MM he gets is pretty awefull. When playing the MT-25 you end up in tier XI our X rounds 90 % of the time. Even then ok its a scout so no problem. The problem is the maps and enemy tanks where i have to drive the MT-25. I get a lot, and i mean A LOT, of city maps with Tier IX and X as the highest tier. So scouting....useless. Considering the changes to arti, your lucky if you have a round with arti in the teams, because thats its strenght right ? Scouting for arti.
If they would change the MM setting, it can be fun playing this tank again. So MM against more open maps, MM with arti. Even then you encounter tier IX and X but thats no problem at all.

Just my 2 cents

Hmm I've come back to tanks after a break and found this instead of my t-50-2...a bigger, slower tank with the same gun specs, an extra crew member which has messed up the skills etc. I just cannot see why this is any good, it get's put in the highest tier games anyway and all other light tanks of the same tier or higher seems miles better,

I've tried to passive scout like I used to but it's spotted alot easier, I've tried being evasive which works as well as any light tank but it's no longer excelling in it.

What is good about it really? Comparing other similar tier scouts?

Every tank has its own play style so u just need to find one for the best purpose fo the tank.mt-25 is not good tank on turns but on straights is faster than amx 12 30,amx 13 75, amx 13 90, t-50, t-71, leopard, chaffee and some german and chinese tier 5,6.U just need to look at the big picture. There are two types actualy three types of scout players.
1.:suecide scouts who dont even know how to play like a scout.they just rush to the enemy like kamikaze and die not even a minute after the game start.
2.:scouts who can realy play like one and help the team by spoting as many team players as posible and watch at all time to not get destroyed by enemy.
3.:the third ones dont even know how to play like a scout, it looks like they are playing like heavys with the strongest armor or like TDs on the back waiting for heavy to do their job and then when just enemy artys left to be killed they went for it and on the end of the game they just write gg or gj (LOL) .
THE ONLY PROBLEM IS IN THE PLAYER( :playing:)  NOT JUST TANK.

I can tell you one thing.

I have 4.400 battles in MT-25 and for last 1.000 battles i have 58% winrate.

I play only randoms not in platoons.

So just think if that tank can be bad if it is making that winrate?

i keep the WR of my T-50² with the MT-25 so it s not a bad tank, just less fun and no more active scout with it...

i ve mounted the 37mm as an anti-scout machine gun, i dont use the gun otherwise.

i fitted it as a passive scout like my leopard.: net, vents, binocs.

Selling the MT-25 as soon as I get ~60k XP on it.

I think WG will add a t7/8 scouts to this line, even if it's not coming soon.

.

Scoring that 60k should allow me to unlock the new t7 asap, without using free XP or playing more games.

I keep it. After td rebalanse, will come scouts balance (buff). Where is room in garage for 50+ tanks, there is also room for MT-25 :D
