Dear Tankgirls and Tankboys!

I am searching the half of the afternoon after the Threat with the Hitbox Skins!
Does anyone of you know somthing about this threat or the link, where I will find them?

I am very thankfull for someone who can help me!

With many thx to Dorvich! We found something in the russian threats.

With a little work from him and me, we put the skins with the hitzones in one file for all of you.
Who ever interessted in this files, will find the following tank skins in it:

Meantime, I think I`ll give you a short legend about color of hitzones:

• Red - Engine, chance of fire
  
• Blue - Driver
  
• Yellow - Gun
  
• Orange - Crew member (commander, loader etc)
  
• Purple - weak spot (high chance of penetrating armor)
  
• Light-Blue - weak spot with medium chances of penetrating
  
• White - Ammo

Hitboxes aren't known, the developers do not publish them, so you can only count on your experience. Also such skins would be quite on the border too cheating.

hitbox skins are as far as i know considered cheating and not allowed to be used in this game.

if you want to know a weakspot here is one: the T44(maybe t54 too couldnt test it till now) has the habit to explode in 1 shot if you hit the ammorack from the side aiming at the area around the first 2 wheels, its not easy to hit though, but it works pretty well if you see the opportunity.

Why is this cheating, if you know, where you have to shoot on?!
I think cheating is when you shoot at a tree left of the tank and you will always hit the the door in the turret.
Only to know where you have to shoot on, is not the same like hitting it at all times.

Someone in the german "Forum" has open a threat with pictures from the Hitboxes (http://forum.worldof...s-trefferzonen/)

He also talks about someone in the english forum, that has done some skins at Oktober, but he don't know the threat where he had read it.

But if the devs realy mean, that this is forbidden, pls. close my threat. I will only play fair. My question about the special skins is only for learning more about the different tanks and the best way to destroy them in a fair way.

not true, I asked overlord in pm what he thinks about it and he answered me that its not a cheat, just a hint where to aim at and where to shoot at.

Hi Comrade Tankers!

Some Russian guys have made a lot of test shooting and created topic with hitboxes (it`s not 100% accurate, but will do the job)
Weakpoints

Of course it`s in Russian, but the pictures are pretty self-explanatory.

About TS`s request:

Same problem. I can access top-most level and some (random i think) topics. But that`s all.

The Hitbox Threat is very helpfull!

But now I have the next problem!

I don´t speak russian. Can anyone of you take these threat and the files and write it down in english?
And if it is possible link the files from the russian hoster to an english download hoster?

This will be very help and usefull!

From realism point of view if detailed correctly hurray hurray.

But come on, how much do you need in help to learn these things by heart without aid of skins?
Ah well it speaks for itself that it has appeal to easy mode players.

IMO they should not be allowed unless publically acessible and translated.
Seing as they dont really help people kill, only where to aim to have higher kill chances.
Most parts of a tank with critical elements are quite obvious without aid of skins but hey.
