He was wearing German tank uniform (the one that German crews even wear in the game) and they didn't allow him to take pictures and to play WoT. What were they thinking, that he's some old crazy Nazi?

Instead of putting links to his Youtube channel, instead of featuring streamers like QuickyBaby on their front page (like LoL is featuring good players and their streams) so that idiots who play this game learn something they act like idiots to people who helped so many players to become better players. It's just outrageous.

People should understand WHY that happened.  Because of reputational damage.

See, WG have a reputation to protect - we all know that he was wearing a regular German army tank uniform, but a picture of him in that uniform at a WG stand getting into the press could cause WG reputational damage because to most people, rightly or wrongly, it's a guy dressed as a Nazi at a WG stand.  That is reputational damage.  And if anyone thinks it doesn't matter or isn't important check out the story of Gerald Ratner who lost his company £500 million with a few stupid words.  So that's presumably why they asked him to leave.

Also, just because we all know who he is doesn't mean that some WG PR\event person has any idea who he is.  We watch his videos and read his posts all the time - those people don't.  To them he's just a guy dressed as a Nazi - even if he explained the difference they probably aren't empowered to make the call.

That said, and I guess only he and the WG employee(s) involved know the exact situation, surely this could have been easily resolved?  A quiet word, "Look please take the jacket off - no shirt underneath?  Fine, here's a WoT\WG t-shirt" (they always have lots at events).  Not rocket science, is it?

Couldn't agree more with "Wsanutter" old history and as he points out something Jingles discussed himself.
So I hope for the last time some key facts :
1. Jingles was not "kicked out" Talk to him.
2. He was wearing a shirt (and tie) beneath the jacket.
3. The uniform of the Panzerwaffe has on it the National Eagle and Swastika insignia (see Krazypenguins comment) ( Most re-enactors either remove or hide (masking tape) the Swastika.
4. Only WG produced videos are on the news-Reason-Accountability- So backlash/mistakes/complaints are the Company's fault. Who would answer any comments that arise, it would be unfair to expect the maker to do so.
5. Jingles is a valued Community Contributor- He has his own thread:
http://forum.worldof...20#entry5603288
I was meant to spend the day today with Jingles at the Defence Academy unfortunately he was caught in a monster traffic jam on the M4 (don't you love British roads) and never made it.

Been to the museum last week. Was a second stop planned in a daily trip. Managed to be there only 3 hours before closing time and found out its not enough if you rly wanna read all about these amazing tanks and not just to pass the through. I was with my wife and her sisters so i was the only one who was interested in tanks. To be honest they did like the bunkers and all these exibitions of real war scenes. I was more interested in tanks and performance. Did you know that a deasel engine tank was using around 500L or fuel for 100km??? Compare to my car's 6l/100km road tax for tank with such a high emmisions should be freaking high lol.
I was planning to go on tankfest but i was working these days and knowing weathe in UK was a high chance of rain that weekend so i skipped it. And kinda regret it a bit. I could meet Mr. Jingles there as i saw his videos, i killed him once in battle (didn't know hes that old lol, no offence jingles).
Anyone who has an opportunity to visit this museum is realy worth it. Its not a replicas, not a plastic tanks. Its real tanks there (evenknow most of them doest work anymore).
Hell yeah, i payed 40 pounds for family ticket and still can return for free for a whole year!! (pitty its not free for next years tankfest + its 2 hours trip.. but well, was worth it and if someone else will want to see it with me im gladly drive there again).
ps, any1 knows how much approx. that motorbike behind the glass could cost? Its brand new if you check its milage. Damn i would want one like that....
