what is this like !? I have to know.. At work and can't get on the test server. Was grinding for the t62a , but If this is more like the T-54 I'll definitely be getting it !

Anyone tried it yet?

To me it deals pretty much the same, gun, speed, aim time very similar. The only is the obj 140 feels a touch more Manouverable. But I may be imagining. I did play them back to back and honestly can't tell the difference .
wg are really splitting hairs. I shall keep the t54 and t62a.

Question T62A and Obj140 should have according to test server both the same gun. But description on both vehicles of this gun differs. Where is the problem ? Difference is in Accuracy and Aiming time. 0.35 vs 0.34  2 vs 2.1. Where is the true ?

I really enjoy playing t-62a, one of my favorite tank in game. Does it mean I'm going to like the object 140?

well i dont think its worth grinding if you already have the T62A , the turret traverse is only 40 and it feels sluggish , but else it's more like a T54 tierX version and its 0.1 less accruate and aimtime but thats just peanut's. in the other hand , the two mickey mouse ears on the turret is a consurn imo.

The first and only word that comes to mind is pointless .... reskinned T62A. So whats the point of adding a line of medium tanks with turrets on the back of the chassis if the top tier one is of classic make?

It functions almost exactly the same to the t62-a. Basically people will buy this tank because it means they can have 2 T62-a for use in CW.

Well...

+slightly improved hull protection (on paper, as on Test server everyone ride T10 with full gold loadout)
+slightly better top speed and (I think) acceleration
+smaller profile
+-gun. The same as T-62 with minor accuracy nerf but in return 140 have -6 gun depression. Accuracy on the move feels about the same
-unreliable turret - while front is rather sturdy, quite big roof plate and two not that small cupolas makes it tricky to hulldown
-unorthodox hull shape makes sidescraping tricky and unreliable
-noticeably worse hull and turret traverse

TBH, I don't see reason why go for 140 when T-62 is as good, and definitely is more predictable when it comes to armor, while mobility just doesn't do the trick.

Best sound mod hands down... its so good that, after a new patch I just CAN'T play the game with its weak ass vanilla sounds until the mod gets an update to work for said latest patch.
I HIGHLY recommend this mod to anyone that isn't satisfied with vanilla sounds!

Can someone give me a screenshot from T-54 tech tree, I have to know which module the new Object 140 will be researched from, and the amount of Xp that is required :)

This is a "gift" for Clan War players who already unlocked T-54.Tanks killed in CW battles are locked for certain ammount of time and there is always need of one more tank in garage. So, I bet many  players who already have T-62A will have Object 140 ASAP.

This plays similar to T-62A. In the heat of the battle I think they perform like eachother. This is like 2nd T-62A to play in CW where tanks get locked.
Going to buy this the minute this goes live, put my T-50-2 crew and retrain it. Then I have 2x T-62A to play in CW =)

object 140 has a lot better gun depression compared to 62a, it is way more flexible in using its dpm cause it can utilize more positions. it makes the 62a obsolete because it doesnt really have any disadvantage compared to it.

For me it's like T-54 on X tier, with better cannon, and armor. As i don't like T62A, after few battles on test 140 seems to better fit my playstyle. And it's much lower than 62A so this is going to be deadly just as early version of T-54. Pancake is back
