Answer this poll, comment, whatever you want, this requires no further explanation

In case you are unaware of:
The Konisch gun damage was reduced from 165 (old) to 135 (new). Tanks that already have it will get a ROF buff so that the DPM remains the same.
It is also the top gun on the "new" tier 5 VK3001H, which is going to be some sort of sniper heavy

Option A
Remove Konisch gun from VK3001H and revert old 165 damage back

I do believe that the alpha nerf has to do something with the VK3001H. Honestly, I don't need the konisch in tier 5.
As such, it might unintentionally affect the VK3601H and the AfkPanther for sake at the Konisch can fit in a tier 5 tank.

From the start, they said that the 88mm L/56 wont make it in the tier 5 VK3001H, possibly due the alpha damage (weird because the BDR G1B has a 240dmg gun)
The idea revolves arround this:
-Remove the Konisch gun from the VK3001H, and possibly buff the 75mm L/70 ROF on the VK3001H to match the DPM in the VK3001H
-Give the old damage of 165 back and roll back the ROF buff, so it remains like it used to be
-This would at least make the Konisch a bit unique, you get three guns then, right now its just a buffed 75mm L/70 without HE shells (?)
->A high ROF 75mm L/70, an "alpha" 88mm L/56 and the balanced Konisch gun.

Option B
Increase Konisch ROF on VK3601 significantly (17 RPM+)

Self-explanatory. This could be one interesting gun, low alpha but a really high ROF. Usually high ROF guns have a better DPM too.
Also take note on current high ROF guns, like the 76mm M1A2 and the 57mm Zis-4
This may not work a high ROF gun may only work as high ROF gun when a certain absolute ROF is reached (20+) and

Option C
Buff 88mm L/56 penetration

Increase the 88mm L/56 penetration to...somewhere close to 144-150mm
The ROF on the 88 has been buffed to, now the DPM is on par with the Konisch gun
I am not sure if you can accept a ROF nerf then (?)
This may affect the VK3001P too so.....Plan B

Option D
Give us a (researchable) 88mm L/56 Ausf. B with increased penetration

Same idea here, only in a different module so that the old 88mm L/56 can remain untouched while the Ausf. B may stay exclusive to the VK3601H
I heard somewhere that a 88mm L/56 Ausf. B was planned, someone must give information please.
Other than an increased muzzle velocity, I can't find anything else. Possibly the Ausf:B was acutally meant for the VK3001P, but someone can confirm that?

Option E
Leave it as it is
Simple as that

Option F
Revert
Simple. Revert the VK3601H back like it used to be and if you are really nitpicky, give it the medium tank status back
While this certainly won't happen (like the other suggestions), I could tell at least how many want the old tank back.

Option G
Other (post comment)
If your option isnt listed, vote there and post a comment please.

Remember, we did manage to revert the E-50 gun depression in one test from zero gun depression to old gun depression.
And the stats arent final yet, anything could change in the second test (anyone remembers the 105mm L/100?)

Also beware that the KV-1S may lose the 122mm gun in 8.9 and gets a 100mm gun instead, so the other top dog in tier 6 gets nerfed too for that matter, don't forget that.

best option is to use 88 with premium ammo
by this 'balancing' WG just continues its P2W policy :(
and ppl fall to it making game more and more unbalanced

The VK36 was one of my keepers, purely because of how good the konisch gun was (accuracy & pen) and because of how good the tank looks with it's standard turret (that has slightly lower hp but much better traverse). I even spent gold to buy it a garage slot and permanent camo. It may well be I will have to sell it with the changes as they are on the test server (something I will never forgive WG for), but would definitely sell it if it was stuck using the braindead 88 (even a significantly buffed one like some people are voting for), coz then it would have to have the frankenstein second turret. Honestly, this is bad enough as it is, voting for braindead 88's is just making a bad situation worse. If that's the kind of tank u want, go play Russian with the other braindeads and leave the tanks with finesse to those that can play them.

I voted other. I think the 88 L/56 penetration should be buffed as 132mm is far too few. Personally I think the revised Könisch is too much alike the L/70. That slower rate of fire and a bit more damage was perfect. I loved driving around with the accurate and easily penetrating Könisch on my VK36.01(H) but I don't think I'll enjoy driving it as a heavy. Never intended to keep it permanently and I'm doing fine on the T34/85 and Cromwell, so there's plenty of tier 6 mediums. As far as tier 6 heavies go, still running my Churchill VII, about to buy an ARL44, got a KV-1S and still intending to buy a KV-2 and a T-150 in the future. Enough heavies for me.

So in the end my choice is "other". And other is this: retrain the VK crew for the Indien Panzer.

Vk3601 is very good after the changes too. It has now 950 HP in tie r6, thats outstanding. Use the 8.8 with GLD, aim for weakspots and let's get ready to rumble!!! (Note that i'm playing the VK with konisch currently, but i think the 8.8 can be a good choice too. Tried the tank on the testserver.)

I never used or liked Konich. 88 FTW!
