Lol, they say they can't regulate the human element of the MM and it depends on how well players know their machines - seriously WG? No kidding there. I guess we'll continue to be set up in games where most players on one team don't know their machines versus players that know them very well. Did they never think of this when they first designed the game? How can it be so hard to regulate the teams so each side gets a more or less even distribution of noobs and good players?

On another note, smoke shells would be a massive plus to the game. Best you get your arse in gear WG and upgrade your game engine; we can't keep putting around on a steam train when your competition have almost finished their high speed electric line.

the current engine is really unoptimized for some graphics cards and multi core processors
.
i think the game engine is older than call of duty's recycled cod 4 engine
.
they really need to update or move to a new engine

Will you upgrade the game graphics to make the game look like the Xbox 360 version?

I have q9400@3.4ghz a pretty old processor In its day it was a very decent piece. nevertheless the game on it runs inconsistently causing framerate drops while the game looks arent all that impressive. It is not a fault of the cpu. it is because my cpu is not used to full potential since wot only runs on 1 thread-core. I cannot imagine playing on an even weaker (per core performace) cpu.

now, you call players on having bad cpus that arent effective enough for xbox version effects, while you are providing us with a client that is a piece of crap coding.. IT IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU STILL BLAME YOUR CUSTOMER!
great marketing!

eh..screw multithreading... you know what, lets just add some more stalin praising inscriptions, because apparently only poles are disgusted by that dictator
(at least that was told by red SerB, and his words are like words from god - ftr.wot-news.com)

Remake game code,
leave current system running...
Make less new tanks and better what you already have.
I have seen war thunder videos and that is looking amazing....
Time to evolve, look what happened to nintendo!!  also once heard of a company called Sega or something

Are you planning to add weather effects to World of Tanks on PC as well?
Yes, but not immediately. First we want to focus on improving the render and graphic engine.

Hahaha, so we can expect weather conditions in about....hmmm....idk.....maybe when scientist start to clone ppl? Or when my robot turns into a car (or car into a robot, whatever)?

"Please remember that Xbox 360 is a gaming console with a very efficient graphic chipset. We pushed the visual aspects of the Xbox 360 Edition very high because every single player who has the console will be able to enjoy it in the same quality."
My God, it's 2013, x360 was bested in graphics dept. like when Crysis came out 6 years ago? We are talking 8yo hardware here, calling it very efficient sounds like a bad joke.

By 'very efficient graphic chipset' I think they mean 'the team can optimize everything to within an inch of its life'.

Also, old does not necessarily mean inefficient. Besides, I'd say that the 360 has done pretty well for itself considering that it wasn't even top-flight hardware when it was released.

I would like to see an MM where things like giving a side 7 TDs, and only a few to the other on a big empty map, where TDs are very effective, won't happen...

And to be honest, I like the graphics. I'm on medium settings, and I have 30-50 fps. I would be a bit afraid of a different engine. I see many games, where I use the lowest graphics, which looks damn ugly, but I'm still getting damn low FPS (like 20-25). But for example, Mass Effect 2 runs on a medium settings, and it looks beautiful, with a good frame rate. Graphics are weird.

Not fair Xbox360 is only 8 years old ;)

They have a lot of work to do when it comes to the graphics engine.

For me though the game needs bigger maps. While jumping in and finishing a game in 3-5min is fun it feels about as epic as banging your head against a wall.
Bring us 30vs30 and bigger maps before boredom sets in for everyone!

they "forgot" to mention that XBox360 version of WoT does not run on BigWorld

as for

Quote

Xbox 360 is a gaming console with a very efficient graphic chipset
what a joke!
X360 GPU is very similar to an ATI Radeon X1800, a DX9.0c capable chip

on the one hand its ridiculous that the PC version would like WORSE than a 6 year old  console that even then was not as powerfull as a PC.
on the other hand, the games main playerbase is russian and the average PC there still runs on steam so i can kinda understand.

but i really think it could use some upgrades even so.
