Lol, I was just orientating on buying the Excelsior, damn you WG! My wallet doesn't like you.
But on the subject, is the Excelsior worth it? I was planning on buying a month of premium anyways, and 2000 gold + a tank is decent deal

What about SU-122-44? It hasn't been on discount or in gift shop for many months now. Through holidays US server made -30% gold discount two times, also this is at least second time in past 2 months that E-25 is in gift shop. Plese, show some love to SU-122-44 discount! :harp:

Good one! But if it's great, than it's a waste for my Churchill VII crew on the regular server..

Excelsior is pants, terribad gun.  Ive seen some people do well in it, conversely, ive seen most do bad.  If i see one in my team as top tank I know we are in for a rough time.

the e25 at 50 euros, I have one and i must say it is fun.  Its not a credit earner and with only 4 crew members it has restricted crew training options unless you just want an epic hetzer crew.  Saying that I do enjoy it and i have no concept of the value of money so im happy with the purchase.

With the second discount on the E-25 in a month, is this an admission by WG that they have overpriced this tank???  I think so

Re Excelsior, check the tank stats page on noobmeter.com. It has a win rate of 56.5%, better than any other available tier 5 hvy. That obviously strongly suggests it's a very good tank that you will do more than ok in. As far as Excelsior's I've seen being played, they do very well, but you need to try and keep in arty safe zones (like towns etc) coz it's roof armour is terrible. If it's gun is very poor, it's a premium, it will pay for it's own premium ammo. I intend to get one but will wait for a half price sale on the in-game gold price, but only coz I don't need the premium time that you get with it in the gift shop. Other than that it looks like a good deal.

Why a waste? You just transfer the crew into this one without retraining. That is also one of the reasons why we buy premium tanks.
Also the servers are not connected.

Is the E25 a good money earner?

Stay away of E-25. It's a fast firing StuG that pretends to somehow fit encounters loaded with t7-8. It doesn't. At this price it's nothing but frustration of being two-shooted by almost anything it may meet. Better spend 3k more to get a real t8 premium or just print money with regular t4-5.

You know what? How about putting the BT-SV in the shop for a week? That is one little awesome tank I'd like to get my hands on

As long as you play it well, then yes, it's awesome ;).

I disagree, when I run the E-25 I tend to do quite well. Yes, it can't take much of a beating, but it's speed, tremendous reload speed and super low silhouette really makes it a good tank destroyer.

The E25 offer seems overpriced to me.
E25 is 6700 gold in the in game store.
300 gold for the garage slot
3500 gold included in the deal
So the deal includes 10500 gold worth of stuff, and 37 days of premium and equipment worth 650.000 credits.
I can get 14500 gold for the same price.
37 days of premium and 650.000 credits however aren't worth the difference of 4000 gold to me though.

only problem i see with the E-25 is that it's base colour isn't ferrari red...

Glad I got the previous E-25 package, this one seems... overpacked and overpriced. And to comp Cobra6, put something unique for sale for a change. SU-85i or something.

Most offers seem so bad. Not that I'm actually considering one of them, but if you translate the prices into gold, most offers that involve credits are overpriced.
