Any chance to see this super german tank a day? Maybe the same for the American T-28 or the experimental russian T-35

Hope to rise your interest.

Cheers!

Do you really think that it is any chance of all?
2x 280mm guns and a 1000 tons, it wouldnt fit in any of the current maps, its turret is just as big as maus

Oh, and T-28 will be an american TD

Can be cool to see an huge Landkruzer.. maybe a special bonus map where 15 players have to face a computer controlled P 1000 for extra EXP or GOLD ;)

I was starting to wonder where the P-1000 topics had gone to  :P

No, we will never see it in-game. Considering it's not even a real design, let alone a vehicle (the only thing that exists of it is a concept drawing) I will move this to off-topic.

Here I was thinking that the Is-4 having a 130mm gun was a concept too? Same could be said for a 1950s T-54 kitted out with the 1960-70s engine, that's not a real design either, so what does it matter?

Only reason we won't ever see this monster is just because it's too damn big. Even with 100 tanks against it they'd never stand a chance. Something that big, your only hope would be artillery bombardment and airstrikes.

MAUS was a concept too. Only two models were completed but not used in war 'cause they finished in first days of '45.

The US heavy tanks where infact fully operational and did massive trailing and such.

For example, the T29 crews started to use German helmets at a range of 2km because they found there other targets to be to big

Ratte was mainly designed to be a moving cost defender. It was simply too heavy to fight as a tank.

One Reason, why this never was build... its quite useless (like Maus was, at 1945)

They were models from the "gigantism war period" that was about for 2 years at max. USA, Russia and Germany started this kind of war feel due to weapon improvment and gigantic models. USA with T-28, Russia with T-35 (saw sometimes in war but less effective) and Germany with MAUS and RATTE. Also for gigantic weapons, take a look at GUSTAV Cannon (railroad cannon of 800mm). German was very very BIG in weapons and exotic ideas! Ahahah

Unstoppable? Au contraire.
At game vision distances, tanks would be in the dead ground of this monster. Just get close, track it and open up with all you have till it a. blows up or b. burns.

IF they would make the armor WITHOUT weakspots nothing ingame can kill it, its side armor is thicked then that of a maus and it would have like 20k hp a frontal armor of 300mm is immume to anything ingame so only arty can kill hit.

also with a 280mm gun it can 1 shot kill a maus/IS7 so killling it will be a hard and dirty fight:P

would be nice to put this in some skirmish thing, so a platoon has to fight a computer controlled ratte, the faster ur team kills it, the more exp u get:D

Not sure if any one else has put anything up about this tank, but it would be a pretty good Tier 100 tank, with 2 280mm naval guns and the 128mm cannon of the maus plus 8 20mm AA guns , it has 14 inch thick armour (all round i think). What do you think. also i know that planes would take it out with ease and it would destroy roads because its 1000 tonnes, but apart from that what do you think)

EDIT-sorry people have already posted about this monster
