After a few rounds with this new tank i can say, that it can be a fun tank to play. As long as you don't receive any hits. One hit is a critcal one.
Pros
- High top speed
- Good maneuvability
- Good alpha damage
- Good at side scrapping
Contra
- Weak Ammo Rack
- Engine is frequently destroyed
- Prone to gun damage
- Massive commanders copula (weak spot)
- Non-existent 150mm sloped frontal armour

The 150mm are actually only at the thickest part of the tank itself.

Also add "Excellent at side scrapping" to the pros imo.

It's a very good town//village tank.

The 150 milimeters must be made of paper. All penned, not one riccochet so far. For a 150mm armour,  it's weird.

That's because it is very low, so taller tanks will shoot from above and negate the angle.

The 150mm armour is in two thin strips on the front of the tank as you can see below, the sloped area is 75mm thick.

This tank is baaaddddddddd, every shot pens it and almost every game engine catches fire. Cant pop around corners to shoot because front is too long and the gun is just meh.  Cant wait to get rid of this one.

Meh armour, terrible looks and silly tophat placed on the turret... Dafaq is this and who would ever play through pain to get a T-54 with rear turret after that...

How is it at ramming? Must admit really disappointed seeing that armour model thought the 150mm would make this tank but apparently not.....

Having played some more games in this poo filled sock it gets my award for the worst tank in the game, even worse than the su-100 tree line. What is going on over at wargaming when they keep throwing loads of tanks at the Russian tree line but they all suck so bad its not even funny. Even up against an m5 this thing will loose, all the m5 has to do or any tier 5 tank for that matter is to hit the front of it or the sides to either set engine on fire or knock engine out. This tank is so bad its kinda funny in a way.

That is because you are not really supposed to drive FORWARDS around the corners. Look at the shape of the tank, have a think about it.....

This is what a game in this tank sounds like.  Fire put it out, weve caught fire, the engines on fire. Fire put it out. Were on fire fire fire fire fire the engines on fire put it out fire fire fire fire the engine caught fire. Fire Fire Fire Fire. and so on.

Very good tank in TCs . It's a KV-1S killer. But you need to be at least average to make good use of it.

I don't know what it is supposed to be. It feels like a tank destroyer in disguise - not a medium tank. And that's a problem: camp in a medium tank, and you are going to feel the wrath of your team.
.
The engine is destroyed practically every time by the first hit, often set on fire too. In one game a Churchill I (sic) destroyed my engine three times in a row through the angled frontal armor. Gun depression is extremely limiting, and the armor, which is supposed to be great, doesn't actually feel anything like it.
.
DPM is pretty awesome, but the aiming time is horrible.
.
I have to try playing it like a tank destroyer, use hull-down positions and camp, camp, camp. Perhaps it works in that role. Initial impressions however are very bad.

In what kind of tank company are you going to meet KV-1S (tier 6) in an A-44 (tier 7)? Either you are going to play Champion company (t8) or Medium company (t6). Where do you need a tier 7 tank?

Gotta love when I don't pay enough attention to the text. I was referring to the A-43 . I have seen the A-44 in randoms but have yet to see one performing really good.

well quiet funny how anybody thinks its good at sidescraping....well if you say it shows only the turret and its a small target i would accept it but no one here seems to write the fact that the whole turret is a weakspot(not only the big copula)... just shoot it in the gun mantlet with any gun 100+ mm pen (basically t5 guns) and u pen it for sure...except maybe heat cause ist partial spaced...

so for everyone who did not really test it ( i did) its only capable of sidescraping when enemys dont try shoot ur turret....otherwise its kinda weak in sidescraping!

Any need for that aggressive attitude?
LOOK at the tank. It is suited to a peculier type of combat, you can shoot and scoot with it very well. The turret was put on the back of the tank for a reason. You can peek out and expose a very small target. Just because you can't work out how to utilise this or the tank does not fit your playstyle does not make me an idiot.
Why are you so aggressive on here?
