title says alot..

i wanted to try the US heavy series...

T1 was pretty good... if you can call it "good" atleast it worked out pretty well for me.

but now with the M6 i have hard times doing anything besides dieing.
The cannon is 2nd 76mm from the T1 ... well hard times to penetrate same tier tanks ( ppl who played it knows what iam talking about ).

So any hints how to use that tank and what upgrades i should get ?

I skipped this one thanks to 5x xp but I guess playing as support and bringing lot of HE shells could help till you get the 90mm.

I found the M6 an improvement on the T1, which I only enjoyed by the time it got fully upgraded. T29 though sucks massive balls now they have gimped the rate of fire to 5/min on the top gun.

The T32 is good though, but expect to be frustrated! I'm so glad I was only a few matches away from the T32 by the time the last patch came.

Well, imo M6 with the 90mm can be fun.
+
With the ROF Reduction on the 105mm, it is also the preferred gun for the T29.

I am grinding just now through M6 to get to T29. I was thinking just the same as you ShiBu 76mm is not enough to deal with the tanks you get in battle with. Just yesterday night i upgraded to 90mm gun and it changed my gameplay a lot. Shortly after i won TopGun award with the 90mm. And yes you are still driving the same BIG tank that is easy pray fore the high tier tanks so cautious play is the name of the game.
In my opinion the biggest problem of M6 is that the mach-making system puts you in very high tier battles... i get to play in tier-10 battles every third battle.
M6 is tier 6 and Tiger is tier 7, BUT i play much more against Mause ans IS-7 than i ever did in my Tiger.... There must be something wrong with the machmaking system   :) maybe the it hates M6  :D

M6 with 76mm gun is terrible... especially against Tier 10 tanks...

I had the best cannon in my m6, after this upgrade, the m6 works pretty well!  desstroying a is-4 oder tiger 2 isn´t a problem ;) )
Some new chains will be good too.
U will need these updates to get faster to the t29.

yeah i got the tracks with free xp as i bought the tank..

worked my way up to the new cannon... on the way 30 defeats and 3 wins didnt make it any better.. but that was just unlucky when you join a "team" who loses 7 tanks in the first 3 minutes.

just made 1 battle with the new cannon and could snipe a bit ... damaging a kt and is wasnt a big deal... so its realy a huge improvement for the tank.

thx for the answers guys.

M6 is not worthy of attention in the tank as I do not see it here are the creator of the idea of it flat nonsense to play but is the result that they want to have the best tank in battle he has been involved with tanks such as the IS-7 and has only a 75mm tube it is very difficult to shoot anywon so great experience difficult to make, and how can the level of 5.6 to participate in the tanks battle tannks 10 level it is suchs

The tank is worthless before the 90mm, but after that It really gets better. You can penetrate every tank except maus, just play carefull and support unless you're top dog, even then your armor is pretty bad. Different VK's and tier 7 heavys will learn to respect your 90mm.

I didn't have any particular issues with m6 or t1 for that matter. I liked being higher than other tanks as I would use them as cover.

The worse tanks I've palyed so far are m3 lee and stock t32.

It's a pretty good tier 6 tank, fully upgraded of course (90mm and 960hp engine) and with 100% crew + repair.

The front armor is too thin for such a heavy beast, compared to the much lighter VK3601. It also could use 100 or 200 more hitpoints.

Just make sure to always point the front of your tank towards the enemy, bounced 9 T-54 shots in 1 game, got the T-54 and finished off a Pershing, had the best gun on it. It is a decent tank, nothing to get excited about but you need skill to make it work the way it is intended.

You'll have to play a support role pretty much no matter if you're top dog or bottom of the barrel.

I didn't have much success with it spearheading attacks or being very aggressive, but the awesome RoF on the 90mm (which really is needed on this tank!), is perfect in ambush roles or waiting behind a corner on citymaps.

I especially had success with it on citymaps, as you can track your opponent when he comes around a corner. He'll get a shot at you and most likely penetrate your armor, since it doesn't seem to bounce a whole lot. But the RoF on your gun means you can put 2 or 3 shells in him while he reloads (just keep him tracked, so he can't back up behind the corner again).

Oh and whoever said the T29 sucks now, it really doesn't. It's still a great tank that can be used to great success, even post-nerf. So don't feel bad about it. The T32 gets even better (once fully upgraded). I've played russian and US heavies and so far prefer the US ones by a fair margin (only up to tier 8 though admittedly, I would likely change opinion with the IS-4 vs. T34).

One thing you should do - get the engine upgrade with t1 and then go to m6, it was ok with the 90mm, just had to be carefull.

Gentlemen. I would like your opinion on the matter of upgrading. Right now I'm grinding in my T1 and have 12k exp. This means that in a few battles I can research both the engine and the radio (which are both upgrades on the M6 as well). Should I unlock them or keep grinding to the M6?

I'm playing with the idea of unlocking the M6 first, then use it to grind the tracks, turret and guns. When my M6 is turned into a massive burning wreck, I use the T1 to grind for the engine+radio. In the 2-2.5 days I have the T1, I received 21k exp. Getting the final upgrades should take me 3-3.5 days? (since I will focus on playing the M6)

To make it a simple question: should I elite my T1 before or after unlocking the M6?
