Hi,

How was the consensus on this tank? Good? Bad?

I for some reason picked it up again and love it.

It has special matchmaking of not getting tier 5 so already half of the frustration is cut there, has mini-maus like armor and is sloped. A better version of LTP more or less.

The only negative is when meeting other high armored targets, a 1vs1 with a T-127 can get ridiculous as you both ding most of the time trying to locate the hatch to penetrate. Of course TD's also who can penetrate you with their guns.

Still most of the time you will be driving a quite fast mini maus and firing a fairly fast gun at enemies. Simply quite enjoyable and has become one of my "zen" time tanks that I can say is fun to drive more times than it is frustrating.

Plus it is lower tier so your own contribution accounts for more, so more wins even by that standard.

So forumites, have you sold this little gem? Did you even give it a try? What is the sitrep on it? Are there other similar high armor tanks you enjoy?

I still have mine, and play it on occations...And yes, its awesome  I never sold any of the code/gift tanks. I do play my fun lowtiers on occation, but since you asked about vehicles with actual armor, it would be the 38H and to some extent, the LTP(basically a T-127).

Haven't taken it out for a ride the last few months, but prior to that I occasionally did to help train a light crew. Can't say it's a vehicle I enjoyed a lot,  not bad but not great either.

The tetrarch suits my play style better in that regard, but I've mainly played tier 8 and up lately. However light tank crew training is the only purpose I've got for it.

the T-127 is the improved LTP. Good bouncing armor, the same sniper gun and fast enough for everything

By winrate it's my best low-tier tank... sometimes need to use gold ammon too. It's Sealclubbers delight
Not sure they'll give us such a nice chrismas present again this year...

One of my most played tanks, it's my stress reliever.

I've got it loaded with 30 gold shells and I just troll with it. In a Tier III match it'll kill 4-6 regularly and that armour will bounce quite a bit.

It's a bit slow but that's the armour trade off.

It used to have even better MM (only saw Tier III) and I had an insane win ratio with it, which has since dropped but is still close to 60%.

Definitely one of the best free tanks I've ever gotten.

Oh yeah baby! Love the little thing. Get to play it a lot now that I am helping a newbie to improve his gameplay a bit.

T-127, one of the few tier 3 tanks nearly immune to Pz I C which is used a lot in sealclubbing.

It's a good tank, especially in tier 3 battles the armor can bounce a lot.

It is, quite literally, just a good version of the LTP.

Playing it was a whole mountain of fun when the LTP was actually released. Dozens of LTP's a game, and the poor buggers could hardly hurt you....

Still. Solid tank all round. Need to aim to hurt a lot of T4's (don't bother shooting at a matilda, for example), but a barrel of fun. if you're top dog, expect a trollish bouncefest.

Yes.  Definitely.  Some 388 games with slightly over 60% win rate.

Got this as a free tank some time ago and use it a lot.  It saved the day in a strange sort of way.  I must have played WOT for 18 months without realising the crew thing with the premium tanks and played all the crews in their own vehicles.  The T-127 crew after about 300 games had BIA and a good repair skill.  This means when that when "scrote WG" changed the T-50-2 replacement MT-25 to a 5 man crew I had a really good radioman ready to go with just a tank training change.

Benefits are very good frontal armour. You only fear TDs at your tier. I run with only gold ammo so the Tier II gun plays like a Tier III.  A great crew borrowed from my MT-25 sustains the win rate.

Vents
GLD
Binos (I stop a lot before shooting)

Had 10 kills twice with the thing.

As one of my clan mates girlfriends (though tbh she could be a guy by the looks of her) just started playing I got myself one on impulse, haven't managed to play it yet but it looks nice.

Great tank. It's like a baby is-6. Nice troll armour and decent gun considering the special mm.

Yep I have one and play it from time to time. Its not that good and cant go round corners at speed as well as most of my lights can. The gun is also underwhelming at best you need to use a lot of gold in some games and I think that is cheating a bit. I prefer the LTP to the T-127 and I consider the T-127 to be the worst perineum tank I have. But only just beating the Ram II by the smallest of margins yo that high honer.

I still have my T-127 and love it since day one. drive it now and then, especially, when grinding in other tanks had to much awful moments. the is nothing better than dinging those autocannons like Pz I C ...

but with a WR of 57 % in 231 matches I do slightly worse than quite some others.

and: it loks sooooo much better the the LTP, which looks much more .. boxy. :teethhappy:

I played about 110 games in Wot and was just rubbish in the tanks I tried to rush through (German TD's). I got offered an invite code to try again and including the free gold for changing the password I was able to buy a T-127 and start playing the game properly.

I've so much more to learn in the game but I have to say I really love this tank.

This tank is probably the only safe tank to take out when the x3 weekends are running as it does not depend on Donkey teams or eyeores as I like to call them ;)

I run it it with gold and can if careful even make an extremely small profit with gold. however the best thing is watching the pz1c frustration levels go exponential as they unload all their rounds to no effect!

40mm of frontal armor when you angle to protect the hatch means awesomeness.....
