Hi,

I am stat padder and I play 4 fun. Last time I checked this is a game. Noobs are able to purchase T8 tanks and romp around the battle field so why cant I and many others enjoy the craziness that is tier 2?

Tier 2 is fun. I have started from scratch too i.e i have played less than 300 battles so I am not taking super 5 skill crews into battle. If I play well my team benefits from being carried and they are hopefully inspired from it. I have seen some great displays of skill. Instead of being jelly it has inspired me to learn to play.

What do you think?

this play for fun is ok .. but when somebody with 40% WR says that he has bad stats because he plays for fun  .. then its wrong :D

In my opinion its just newbies basher.

Maybe you don't like tier 2 because of tier 2. Maybe you like it to do each game like 10 kills and see all that suiciders.
And no team likes to get win by bashers or getting pwned by basher.
If basher is in my team (i dont play lowtier) then i would be annoyed of getting myself nothing (even though i would be basher). And as enemy... answer knows everybody.
And crew skills aren't really necessary. They just make life easier but at all it isnt harder if you without skills.
Play4Fun - define "fun".
For me its fun to have complicated games and not just "go go kill". Means, I like high tiers.
For the other its fun to play only cw.
For the other its fun to bash newbies.
....

It's okay if you like to bash others in my view of opinion.
But then you won't gain my respect.
This here is just my opinion, I would talk to newbie basher (of my view) just as they would be trash.
I know that I will gain few neg reps... whatever, im farming it.
And I know that most in the forum are players who like to newbie bash others. So nobody/less would understand that what i do.

it might be easier on lower tiers to get the same winrate/kills as on higher tiers, but you could also say that eg 70% at tier 2 is 60% at tier 6, and that way its more of a challenge if you set your goals really high.

Pre-prem ammo nerf, I used my Derptzer called Schnappi to get away from the nasty tomatoes at Tiers 8+. Was constantly loosing between 10 and 35k credits per battle in it, spamming HEAT shells like crazy, but it was the best fun I've had in WoT. Now I can't find a proper tank to fill me up with joy again. Tried SU-152 howitzer, but that thing isn't Schnappi. I haven't played the US TDs, neither the French and the Brittish, but they don't look like that much more fun then the regular tanks. I do keep 3 low tier vehicles - a LolTraktor, a T1 Cunningham and a Pz I C. All being, they're useable in TCs and Tournaments. I don't go around wack people with them, I just do my daily doubles and ditch them out.

Seal clubbing ? Yeah, totally ! Whatever brings you joy - go out and do it. Much better at low tiers, then to run into "yet another HEAT spamming T-54" with your IS-8.

This isnt really compareable. In tier 2 you can do alone even 80% WR. Just drive "OP" tanks like FCm36PaK40 or T18.
But in tier 6 you need much more skills to get 60% WR (if you do alone) because the higher the tier, the more you have to do to carry your team. Why is it so?
You can be pwned quickly in higher tiers, lets take ISU as example. If you are so stupid and go with your E100 to open field, there are enough invisible TDs who can shot you.
In lowtier it wouldnt matter if you go with your T-127 to open field. Nobody could shot you invisible or 1shot you (except "OPs" like fcm36).
€dit: Just as example, take the clan WJDE (we just dinged 'em).
Good high eff on low tier. Nub eff on higher tier - even though still good WR for all their platooning. Not all of you of course, but too much I've seen.

If it is so easy why don't you have 80% win rate in your tier 2s ?

Then you haven't got a clue about win rates especially solo in the garbage T18.

I found the mid tiers much more suited to pad my stats because of bigger differences between tanks.
Because of this you can just pick the OP tanks and still have much worse teams than high tiers, on tier 1/2/3 things are much more balanced.
