Just a small summary of today's enjoyment in the World of Tanks.

First game with A-43: El Halluf in a tier 8 match. Lets see, the worst map in the game, the worst possible MM and with a tank that's by far best fit in city maps. Both teams were more or less fully retarded and the quality of the match made me nearly vomit. Yeah, thanks MM for that enjoyment.

Second game with IS-2: Malinovka in a tier 9 match. Lets see, possibly the worst map for the tank in question and the worst possible MM. Me and my platoon-mate were THE ONLY TANKS to even leave the base. Our T-54 worked as a masterful static spotter. It was Counter Strike's aim_map all over again.

That was enough randoms for me today.

PS. Next time I get El Halluf with non-TD/SPG, I'll just drive off the cliff, because I began to play this game for the fun of it, however there's hardly any fun in El Halluf these days, though I'm not sure there ever was.

Yep, the energies in WoT for the last 2 days, for me,  were negative to say the least. Nothing was as it should be. I still try and beat the odds. Not as successful as I want it to be, but still...

Well, to counter all this negativity, my latest experiences have been nothing but the complete opposite of this...

Just a matter of luck really.

I would expect more level headed aproach from such a veteran. You sure know how some days can be epic win every battle and some you win 1 in 10 battles.
I usually consider such matches great for educating myself and to try new approaches to map.

Y, I'm starting to hate that map as well. They should sell tents and marsmallows on that map for both teams.
Every single time I start from the South side and the enemy is camping their ****** of (damn I hate censoring words), I'm moving to the A1 line and no back up.
Try to get of the hill without getting shot by campers.
Campinovka is the same. Start from the South, everyone is camping base, 1 scout rushes and lights everyone up and the enemy's open fire.
Result: Top tiers are dead and I'm going for the hill without back up.
I'm taking a minor break from WoT, the players, not the game, are getting on my nerves.
Edit: Just don't drive of the cliffs, it makes you even a worse player then campers.

Hold it right there mate. I didn't even lose either of the games (I think at least. I pressed alt+f4 in the second battle after I died). It's not about winning or losing, but having a good experience of the game. In fact if there's one thing I hate more than losing to a bad tactic, it's winning with even worse one.

Also being a "veteran" in this game is a problem at least for me. It means you understand so much more than like 90-95% of the players and when you understand more, you get to see so much more stupidity, and that's one of the most frustrating things in this game for me.

You understand much more and see much more stupidity, that is true. But you shouldnt be surprised by it anymore, thats what I meant by calling you veteran.

Playing some lower tier battles usually helps me alleviate some of the annoyances some higher tier battles can have. Whenever I've had one of those mind-numbingly stupid battles, I troll one or two battles in one of my lower tier premiums and that usually makes it better. Well, maybe not completely, but at least some...

meh... I took a three month break because I had the perception that all KV-1S drivers didn't know what a heavy tank was for, I got frustrated with their camping and consequently it was either take a break or go Postal....

Came back and nothing changed

Still a ten game losing streak hurts a 20K player less than a 1K player...

same sort of thing for me nowadays. I start out looking forward to the game then lose first three no matter how well I play, so go and play another game, not wasting time on losing streaks anymore :(

Totally agree, its like the fun has been sucked out of it for some reason, the games are unbalanced and map choices for my tanks are engineered to be the worst case. and Ive been RNG'd to death bouncing 7 shots in a row in my IS7 the last 4 with gold on tier 8 tanks that just pen me every shot frontally..........
Ive had maybe 3-4 games where its been enjoyable where the teams were at least somewhat balanced and although we only won one of those it was a fun game because there was a chance to win and I did good damage and frags
TCs were alright though I must admit, but proves the point that balanced teams make the games better
Im like WTF? this isnt world of tanks, didnt even stay to make the 15 victories yesterday and for me thats says a lot as Im VERY active.
Oh well.. CW tonight and

Why are all so mad at the game? I know some maps are not good for everyones play style and that the MM is just silly sometimes, but it's just a game.
Try to do your best despite how "intelligent" your team sometime is. It's just simple as that. :blinky:

2 bad games, MM is horrible to me, I know what I'll do, I'll come on the forum and whine.

Get some gumption.
