This just happened to me in-game:

It was funny, I even held off 5 tanks alone there, killed one and recieved 6.2k potential damage before Arty finished me with one shot, as expected. But in the end we won!

And then of course I have my all-time favorite, which I also keep in my sig:

14 tanks in a 2x2 grid area  :teethhappy:

Share yours, I haven't seen a good lemming in a long while.

Erlenberg has become like that, the way it positions TDs at startup to rush and hold that corner, it's just BS.

I get roflstomped every time, so these days I just turn tail and head for the camping ridge to snipe. Better chance of surviving.

There's a campaign to get it changed, because the way to win this match on Standard is to camp the ridge.

As for that Malinovka lemming train? *Facepalm*

I bet your language was neither wee nor wonderful.

I actually I just stood there laughing my as off. When a lemming train goes into that kind of extreme, it becomes funny! :D
In the end, it evolved into a rush to the cap circle from both sides, but of course since the enemy didn't lemming, we lost, I couldn't hold them all by myself on a T34 in one flank...

I don't mind too much. It provides you with the opportunity to do the impossible while screaming SPAAAAAARTAAAAA!!! and die in a blazing flame of glory. Of course though, arty is always there to spoil the party for you.

Hi,

why didn't you wait at the bridge with your team mates? Never go alone, even when it's some times stupid. Because alone you are an easy target. And by the way, a TD operates best when it can stay hidden (I know, with some TDs its nearly impossible to stay hidden, but mostly a discovered TD is a dead TD). I lost many matches because the TD drivers in my team thought they are HTs.

Here's one from the weekend - Tier 9 battle (I was in a lowly IS-2 and decided to protect our arty, not that it would make any difference).

What team-mates? They were all going away from the bridge. And I don't camp, I hate it, especially when there's nobody in front of me spotting. A TD as large as the '48 is dead defending that bridge anyway when there's no-one to spot the hills. One enemy tank spots you and maybe you can shoot at him, but you'll be shot at by 5+ different tanks that you can't see, effectively pinning you down or forcing you to hide which in the end means you'll have a terrible game.

WoT should make a competion day, a 'national' lemming train day... (you blow up if you stray more than 20 meters from a friendly tank)

I wonder what would happen  :arta:

Thanks iScending for moving a topic about in-game situations on a forum dedicated for everything but the game itself. I don't know why I even bother.

Unfortunately I miss the screenshot: yesterday evening, I started south in Murovanka encounter, and after 2 minutes, I counted no less than ELEVEN tanks camping between the "magic bush" and the hill south of the bush.
Guess what, enemies quietly capped the base, and won. Not even the need to rush...
