As the title says I'm gonna buy a new videocard for my little brother.
Myself have a GTX Titan.I found a nice videocard that also looks good.
But I need you opinion guys.It's a ASUS GT640 2048 MB.
Is it good enough to play high-max settings on a 1080p screen?

I think you could set the settings to high-max if he was not recording.

Get radeon 7750-7790 they are cheap and powerful. GTX650 to GTX650 TI are good as well
I would say 7790 because its the best you can under that budget. Gt640 is not for gaming and extra memory can't be used on it since its weak as well as a 64 bit type

My bad there are two types of it. However it still won't play this game at even medium at 1080p
My little has a Intel Core I5 now.
Intel HD Graphics 3000. He plays world of tanks at 60 fps at 1920x1080 easily.

Buy a GTX 660 you pay around 170 euros for it but you get a high quality high performance GPU...

You clearly know nothing about computers so why ever bother?

NOTHING with computers has a set life time. I mean look at the 600 series in general. It was what, top of the Nvidia line for 3-4months before the 700 series was released... Simply put, you can't put a date on computer components because no-one knows. There is a game coming out soon that a GTX 780 will only be able to run at medium at 1080p. Plus with 4k becoming a reality RIGHT NOW, alot of GPU's are going to be replaced soon to ones that can support it.

Yeah agree with bizolol, usually they are a bit more expensive then those made by other companies as they have better reliability

I bought the AMD Radeon HD 7770.
But I heard alot of people having BSOD (BSOD=Blue screen of Death)
So was it a good choice to but it?
