Nice reservations... I can negrep u more times :D (but I won't ) what kind of info? Can't u add it in the main post?
.
meh I don't really care about money when buying a prem tank ( I won't spend 100€ or smithing like that ) I mean I like to buy only one tank that is fun to play and gives me money too like t34 3.. Not gonna buy another tank... For ex: I won't buy the e25 only for fun... There are many other fun credit tanks

Just one thing I would add: you've used average values for credits / battle based on statistics so you're calculations are valid for the wot player with average skills. Those numbers are much greater for a very good player and viceversa for a tomato.

I'm too lazy to apply your formulas to my Type 59 and KV-5 and i'm pretty sure net income is calculated without premium.
If you're a good to very good player you can get 2-2.5k damage/battle with the mentioned tanks basically out of a suicide rush(more like an incredibly offensive style).Taking into account the spotting damage you will get 70k credits out of a defeat, that's 46k without premium aka 36k net profit on average.

Also since you are commiting suicide you end the game in 4-5 minutes.I'm not very good at math but i guess that is a lot more than any of the tanks that are currently in the shop can make.

So i suggest you start winning competitions to obtain these 2 fine tanks.

it is at the end of first Post:
To come:
III Tier II premium vehicles
IV Tier III premium vehicles
V Tier IV premium vehicles
VI Tier V premium vehicles
VII Tier VI premium vehicles
VIII Tier VII premium vehicles
IX Tier VIII premium vehicles

I will try to use a simple rating system, describe each tank and link to sticky forum topics if available.

Well my formulas r not that useful to be applied to tanks of the same tier, since credit income and cost does not differ too much. And of course I did not use premium income, since the majority of players do not have premium time all the time.
KV-5 can often be bought via Gift Shop, too.

Actually I used my stats (without premium). That's maybe the reason that these numbers may look so small to u. Prem gives 150% gross income, but net income percentage is even higher, since the costs stay the same.

Thank you for putting in the time to research and post your results on the forum.

One of the things I've considered in the past is how much of an investment a premium tank needs to be, and to highlight that you really need to enjoy playing a premium tank, especially at tier 8, if you are buying it with the expectation that it will be economic. I'll explain what I mean using your figures if I may.

The Löwe has a net credits per battle of 27,394cr and a purchase cost of 12,500 gold. The credit equivalent of the purchase price is 12,500 x 400 = 5 million credits using the 400cr/go conversion rate. So the number of battles in the Löwe just to break even compared to just purchasing the credits is 5,000,000/27,394 = 182 battles.

But you could have just used a non-premium tank for those battles and received credits. If I make an assumption that the Löwe gives an 100% net uplift you need 182 x 2 = 364 battles to break even.

If you are a better player then you need less battles and correspondingly if you are not as good a player, it will take longer. Because premium tanks have an income not a net uplift, a marginally better player will get a better net uplift (say 150%) but a slightly poorer player will receive significantly less net income (say 50%) because repair costs are relatively fixed. The economics are stacked in favour of being at least an average player to get a quick(ish) return on premium tanks..

Your calculations for lower tier premiums suggest that they need a lot fewer battles to break even, so for the T-25 you need 3.5 (1928/548 using comparison of net income per euro rates) times less battles than the Löwe = 364/3.5 = 104 battles to break even assuming comparable uplift to their non-premium tank e.g PZ IV for the T-25.

Premium tanks are still worth it but I'm stressing that they are a long term investment. There is a tendency to declare premium tanks, especially tier 8s, as money-makers and new players interpret this marketing will give them a quick return; it won't, its a long term investment and you really need to known that you will enjoy the premium tank because you are going to have to do a lot of battles in it if your motivation is predominately money-making.

You can still just buy a premium tank for the steer enjoyment and for crew training, but its best to be aware of the economics so you are not disappointed with your return from a money-making perspective.

Type is not the best example. Yes it became slower, but its gun depression was buffed. This is an incredible buff if u do consider its actual turret armor

Lot of confusing numbers to go by!But thx for it anyway.
If i am correct your calculations suggests that a lower tier prem tank is a better option to grind credits if you have more time to spare than money. Also better to buy a prem 8 to gind credits if you have more money than time to spare.
i think i am the latter use my tier8s to grind credits and the lower tier prems for collecting and for fun(like had enough of high tier tomato teams and want to vent) but also while i am having fun grinding some creds too.

But in conclusion if someone wants to grind credits fast and dont care about costs then buy a prem 8 and buy prem time too. This way you can grind up 1.5mill(+/-0.5mill) credits a day.Usually if i go to my freinds palce and play platoons from 10am till 5 pm in our t34s in a relaxed way(like having a coffe or cigarette brake after 3-5 matches) we grind around 750-850000 credits. So for fast credit grind the higher tier prems are better.
