Why does anyone check anything on the go?

Well, the WoT assistant is made for portable devices(namely Android and iOs), as it's been clearly said both in the vid and in the article. So, a logical assumption would be that someone with a very busy day is most likely to use the said devices. And since its user is busy, there's no point in keeping track of one's stats(which also happens to be time-consuming), unless he isn't really busy(which renders the possession of a portable device illogical)

As for me the app is totally useless:/ As someone pointed out:
Why on earth would I want to check my stats?
Dunno... But, ok - for some strange reason I might want to do that but... why would I need an app? On smartphones I can do that just fine through the website, without installing anything.
News? Again - website.
Clan wars? Once again - websi... wait a moment! I cannot open the map on my smartphone, and even if I could the navigation would be hell. So yeah, I could use an app to access the map. Or at least check battle times. Hey! That would be usefull! But... That I cannot do, it's not there:/

I use the app daily and I like it... However the "News feed" is super buggy, never updates, clicking on a new article just gives me a black screen and "loading" forever.. (on a  Samsung Galaxy S).

Anyway, good app all in all.

Tried it, useless to be honest... If you  have a phone this works on you can just log in to your account in a browser...

If you want something to do with WoT that is decent, try this app...

https://play.google....ro.wot.knowlege

You can select your tank/gun and the enemy tank (or vice versa) and see easily whether you can pen/be penned or not...

Plus other stuff.

(and no.. I'm not affliated in any way with the app..)

In time.

I use this on my phone and love being able to check it on the go etc. Handy for checking my progress on specific tanks etc I might be playing over the course of a week.

can't believe this man, sounds like some 14 years old facebook addicted kid. Sorry, etc ;)

None taken. sometimes I'm simply curious about how I'm doing and it's handy to check without having to power on the PC or whatever. It's like why do people take pictures of their dinner to share on facebook/twitter? People use the internet for many different reasons and mobile browsing is more and more commonly accepted as just a thing people take for granted. That means people expect pretty much the same experience (with the exception of gaming) they have when browsing on a desktop, as browsing on a mobile phone.

I like studying stats but we need some improvements.
Wether it's on the assistant, in the service record in game or at the WoT website, the same stats should be displayed in a similar way.
If one piece of statistics is deemed importand enough to be displayed in the service record like the personal rating why isn't it exhibited on the other sites?

Announced upcoming changes like hiding your stats and incorporating spoting values to the personal rating system are steps in the right direction.
