Alright tankers. I've been spending a bit of time on this forum now. And why not. It's fun, informative and a good way to pass the time.

However I've read loads and loads of post where the poster types at the end of their post something along the lines of, "Sorry for my bad English", as in it's not their native language. The posts are usually 99.9% perfectly readable with the only the odd spelling mistake. Something which most of us are guilty of from time to time.

So to all of the non native English posters thank you and relax. There's no need to apologise.  Yes I understand you're being polite but you're around fellow tankers.  I just wish I was able to learn a foreign language to the same standard.  Alas I'm a lazy sod.

So once again cheers and carry on!!!!!!!!!!

I don't mind bad English, and what I've found out is that it's often the non-native speakers (myself included) who write the best English, native speakers often being lazy and writing it in an "as you'd say it" kind of a style.
