Stryzga...you didnt do anything wrong ...its just that there is specific order in which to install....m not sure if its first engines or first gun sounds....try googling it  and you will find that this problem is common with gnomefathers mods...so better download one by one and install in proper order than doing instantly the mix
EDIT: found it, it is for the previous version but the method  is the same
http://forum.worldof...618#entry461618
additionally you can look on his fb page where people have asked the same thing and were provided solution
https://www.facebook...335468446575829
edit: Sgt. Krollnikov solved it for you i believe......i thought its a common knowledge that audio folder has to be copied from res to res mods before...oh well

So, the thing which went wrong was, that he didn't had copied the whole audio folder from res to res_mods  BEFORE  any audio mod is installed to res_mods. Because the GF sound mods are combined to one pak, there are no files which causes any issues with overwriting. He had no sound despite the engine and gun sounds because the pre copying of the res\audio folder was not done.......................

This is no longer necessary, because the new mod overwrites the original files. That's why you need to backup the original audio folder.

I also don't see a reason for a specific order for installation, because both mods do not share any file.

If you install the GF mod as he describes it in his org. readme file, its right, but I do not install this mod to the original "res" folder but in the " res_mods" folder, so you have to copy the audio folder first. I do that because GF had
made the changes for the install of his audio files in hope that this will resolve his probs with micro stutter and lags, but this never ever had solved the problems with the GF mods. The only time his mods worked properly nearly without stutters and lags was, as he had worked together with KriegsTreiber.
So, if anyone install this mod pak to res_mods, as I do, copying the res\audio folder to res_mods  is a MUST !

Did you copy the audio folder to res_mods/0.8.8? I first made this mistake.

Jingles linked me to this , it sounds so good , but a few questions :
Do you hear the shots of somebody that is not spotted? Also i feel like i might not be able to identify what fired behind me and that might change the skill at which you play a bit.
Also , what of those guns that are invented? What will the sound produce?

The engine sounds are fantastic, but for whatever reason, the gun sounds are absent. I still get the default sounds, but the mod hasn't kicked in for the guns. Can anyone help?

HI, im trying to install this mod and I'm having some trouble, I ask for your help.
I replace the res->audio folder with Gnomefathers res->audio folder, then the res_mods->0.8.9->scripts... into place as well, and when I open the game, just when the WOT fire animation is going to load, before getting to login screen, it crashes.
Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks a lot.
Edit: I have solved the loading game crash issue, but now I cant make gun sounds work. I have copied Gnomefathers audio folder inside res, inside res_mods->0.8.8, still doesnt work, just normal sounds. Help please.
