Yeah....I'm bored, but I already know who's signed up before I've even posted this. It's just a bit of fun - maybe we could extend this in the future, with an in-game platoon channel and stuff, maybe even an XVM addon if we get that far.

You put the boom boom into my heart,
You send my soul sky high when your lovin' starts.
Jitterbug into my brain,
Goes bang bang bang till my feet do the same.
But something's bugging me
Something ain't right
My best friend told me
What you did last night.
Left me sleeping
In my bed.
I was dreaming
But I should've been with you instead.

Sign me up before you go go,

Since the demise of the VK3601H, probably the best tier VI medium... in the world. (Best Jeremy Clarkson voice required)

Signed.

Where's KptS? he has an unhealthy relationship with his T-34-85!!! :teethhappy:

Seriously, love this tank. First tank in WoT I fell in love with, during beta. Played approx 1500 battles in it in beta.

Now up to 750 battles live. It's a good all round medium tank, ok armour, decent mobility, gun is good at tier 6. I think it's the best all round medium at tier 6, not really the best at any one thing, but good at them all with no massive weaknesses.

I am here, I was trolling another "rigged MM is bringing me down" topic in Pl forum.
Because T-34-85 is very universal tank. Is reliably fast even when going uphil, has more than average camo factor, great gun, traverse speed and turret fast enough to troll Hellcats and most of higher tier heavys from close distance, when underdog can be scout or deadly sniper, when top tier can use brute force, has very good gun depression and turret is well shaped to troll with it and even has some armor.
Because gave me battles of my life in WOT.
Because every its wekness can be compensated with crew skill.
Because kicks a$$.
I don`t remember more right now.
And because thanks to my T-34/85 my sig looks like I am pro.
And because it is upgraded version of iconic tank which won WW2.
And because when you show picture of 34/85 to any man and he don`t recognise this tank, then his boyfriend will.
And because Hellcat is also very fun but too mainstream.
One more reason: because with 34/85 I know how to kill unicums driving KV-1s in this clever way so they can`t do anything to me.

What?

I only tried type t-58. Its about the same as t-34-85 I believed, and decided never to buy russian version. Was I so wrong? I never did like type-58.

Oh, T-34-85.... My first money-maker. Back in days, when i was too poor to buy proper premium tank.    Two years ago, or something. Then i've joned stronk klans and bought tones of prem vechicles, but I still have this one in my garage. It have great sentimental value for me. Besides - i'ts a legend. How one could not love it?

Yep.
First tried it only with the 100mm on it until I'd elited it, then got a KV-13. I was initially a bit dubious about going down to the 85mm on the KV but learned to live with it.
Then I rebought the 34-85 to try to get my 'M' in it and succeeded with the good 85mm on it.
It's a lot of fun to play :)

I'm not surprised. The 34-85 is considerably better. Even with my Type 59 crew+meatshield in it it's not so hot.

It's such a great all-rounder, definitely a keeper for me.

Even in defeat it can be great:

Almost every post here:
http://forum.worldof...4-85-deviation/
Is good reason to love this tank. It used to be my blog about adventures with stronk optis. I have idea.
If you had very stronk battle in 34/85: take screenshot of battle report and post with replay in my shameless bragging topic with my stronk tectics. Share your tektics so we all grow stronker! One rule: to avoid spamming with thousands of replays nobody will ever want to watch post only 2kexp + battles.
Show us how you haxx!

I've never played the type 58 but from what I have heard, it's a poor imitation of the T34-85. The russki is a great tank, give it a try, you may like it.

Absolutely, my current run with it is the 3rd time i've bought it since live and i'm keeping it this time. Having a lot of fun in it, love setting kv1s's on fire, burn baby burn. Makes decent credits as well. I've got my best crew in it, 4 full skills and 63% on their 5th, running with vents, coated optics + rammer and small repair pack, small first aid kit and auto fire extinguisher.

I'm running Rammer, Binos (only a placeholder until I can be arsed to get stronk optis), Vents. Small FA kit, Small Repair kit, Auto fire extinguisher, crew training 3rd skill at 85%.

Commander: Sixth Sense, BiA, Recon (85%)
Driver: Off Road Driving, BiA, Smooth Ride (85%)
Gunner: Deadeye, BiA, Snap Shot (85%)
Radio Operator: Situational Awareness, BiA, Repairs (85%)
Loader: Safe Stowage, BiA, Repairs (85%)

Got camoflague as well, for that little more extra camo factor. Going to train camo for 4th skill when I get there.

Kpt, you must be some kind of robot programmed to play the T-34-85. You're too good to be human.

Meh, had a few good battles in it but I can't make it work good enough for it to be a keeper, sold it ages ago.

Fair play to those who can.
