I've seen this in game a few times. I've not been on the receiving end before, but I have seen it in action before.

I just report them and move on, I doubt anything will be done but I just cba getting all pissy over such astoundingly childish behaviour.

OK so we all know there is a small bonus for kill all as opposed to cap.
Do the brain donors who TK you for capping not realise the penalty for a TK in cap will remove this and more from them?

For all 3 games I was hit with "No cap kill all", or in one occasion "no cap rape all noob".

Dunno why, but i LMAO-d when i read that. :teethhappy:

Well, you know, i say it sometimes too, but i wont proceed to kill my teamates when they cap... Its just anoying when you have 5 kills, and its guaranteed to get a 6th one, but you teamates decide to just cap.

Still, teamkilling is (almost) never justified.

My reasons for hating the whole “DON’T CAP KEEEEL” idiom is that once, a long time ago (It was on a map called Pagorki, that’s how long ago!) I was in my KT and the last tank alive on my team. They had 5 players and were capping. They left cap to come and hunt me down in the little village.

I killed them all.

So, if you want assure victory and the extra XP and creds that come with it, cap.

Not killed but I got pushed out of cap by some famous clan unicum so he could get a couple of cap points more. :)

There is no bonus for kill all, only a bonus for the total damage done by the team. If the enemy only has one (or a few) low health tanks it is xp-wise better for the tanks still alive to cap than to get those few remaining hitpoints.

i think there is a bonus for actually KILLING a tank. Like... a bonus on top of the XP and credits you get for damage. Correct me if I'm wrong ofc.

I lost quite few games because of groups of "KILL ALL" geniuses.

That is a personal bonus, not a team bonus, and I think that is implemented to offset the fact that killing shots typically deal less damage than normal and would otherwise net you less xp and credits.

I know we all have been on the other side of this problem more than once. I remember one time on Ruinberg encounter when I decided to make a heroic last stand to prevent the enemy tanks in E9-E0 from getting to the base and decap.
I lasted a while in my Caernarvon against a T-54 and some more tanks. We had 4 or 5 at the base capping. When I finally die, at 75% cap, they decide to "Kill All" instead of capping, there was no happy end I assure you.

Oh right, I was going by what the "kill all!!11!!11" whinersfanboys enthusiasts said on here, thankyou :)

Personally if I can kill the last ones then great, if not then capping is still winning

I had a great shot at getting the Raider medal once in pearl river, enemy team was pinned down from both sides in death valley and i saw the opportunity to sneak into their base.

Oh. I also had survived like 15 battles in that thing in a row (StugIII), was on a good way of getting survivor medal as well

Enemy had like 2 left, i was up at 88%, then i took a friendly spg shell to the face

funny thing was noone had told me to stop capping.

.
Not really, the bonus for the killing blow is quite significant for the killer at the very least. It's definitely more than what you get for capping, even if you go from 0 to 100 all by yourself.
.
Capping deprives your team of the team-wide bonus you get by damaging and killing enemies, not to mention what you'd get if you dealt the damage/kills yourself. I tend to avoid capping if there's zero risk involved (which is basically most of the time I'm in a position to cap). If there's even a slight chance of losing I don't mind capping.
.
Sometimes I cap just to force the enemy to move, when they expose themselves I move away from the cap circle.
.
Also don't forget this.
