If Wargaming wants to keep their players, they better step it up.

this, I watched a stream about it, and the planes in that game seem worse than arty ever was in wot. graphics were really good though.

I'll definitely try it out, but it's just no the same as WoT is. I'll most probably stick with WoT even though sometimes it pisses me off while playing it.

I like the graphics, don't like the feeling I get from the gameplay and I won't switch to having just a few tanks, I prefer the hundreds of prototypes and fantasy tanks WoT has + I absolutely hate the way Gaijin designs and handles their games and their economic management. The only really good think is that WG will have to finally give more importance to what they promised, better smoke, their already confirmed decent graphics overhaul (don't really hate how WoT looks at the moment either, only thing I want is better optimization), bigger maps (with appropriate game modes, because I rather like the lighting fast matches of WoT), the Havok implementation that will start from 9.0 and so on.

It's about time Wot encounters a serious opponent... Hope this will make Wargaming to focus on the game engine upgrades and graphics and gameplay details rather than new content like tanks and maps

I'll try it but I'm not sure I'm going to like it with mediums having the ability to call artillery strikes and planes being on the same map as tanks.

You guys might be getting your hopes up a bit. Gaijin have been steadily increasing the p2pwn of their plane game to the point where it's becoming really cringeworthy. If they take the same direction with the tank element then it's gonna be a problem. I mean there are people here who cry buckets over +2/-2 matchmaking. If you think that's bad, heh, let's just say you're in for a bit of a shock.

If WT tanks will be anything like WT planes I'll just stick to WoT. With planes not having health bar and being able to bring down a plane with one burst of well-aimed shots is fine because you jump to the next one and PLANES ARE FAST, but I don't feel like driving around in a huge map for 2 minutes and getting one-shotted by an ambushing enemy.

As far as we can see, the models and maps look awesome, you can really feel the atmosphere of a tank battle. You have to hand it to Gaijin, the game looks fantastic.
However I still have some reserves towards how the game will work, what the economy will be like and similar, something that hasn't been shown but is equally important.

I would say it is time for WG to step up, there is a new competitor on the block.

All graphic whiners will leave WoT for WT. I will play it propably if they get more tanks of other kind of vehicles too. On the english version it does say it's ground forces so i take it there will be something more. Otherwise ground forces will be quite limited since there wont be so many tanks. And that can get boring easily. I would like if they would add AA tanks like flakpanzer IV wirbelwind to counter those aircraft.

lol that gameplay is crap. The graphics might be pretty but I'd hope for a much better game play and UI in the actual release, it's more arcade than WoT FFS!

There are plans to include quite a few vehicle types including AA. You are also forgetting the many variants of real tanks and hull variants that were often rolled into one tank in WoT. If Gaijin have shown anything it's that they're not afraid of massively padding a tech tree with 20 very similar vehicles, so there should still be variety of a sort.

293 battles and already complaining about siema's... This just makes me more sad, Back to topic:

It will be very fun to experience the different style of play of WT! I'm feeling exactly the same way from when I first started 2 years ago

My feels exactly. Larger maps with less enemies, this is more a step towards simulator. Those tanks do seem to go little faster then I'm used to :-D And to think these games are in entirely different spots in their development cycles; WoT went live on Russia three years ago. Then again, perhaps these games fill different niches entirely.

Yes as we could see in that video we'll get multiple T-34 and I would expect that every Pz IV variation will be there.
