Hello,
We all know warthunder is going to add tanks and here is a short gameplay of it.

It looks very good, and I think it will be great competition between warthunder and WoT, not only wowp.

Gameplay sucks.
Needs a lot of work.

Graphics are great.
WG needs a lot of work for WoT.

Which one are you talking about? Warthunders gameplay sucks or WoT?

The HD video below that clip looks really good graphically. When this game hits it can only be a good thing for us. Competition is needed to bring out the best in people/companies/games.

Dem Track models... Amazing detail on KV.. WG needs to up its game seriously, the engine sucks, I can run Skyrim max settings and get over 80fps but WoT crumbles to 45fps on lakeville.... wat...

If you can run WoT (where "optimization" equals to a curse word), trust me you will be able to run WT tanks without any hassle...

Pretty nice footage.

What I liked was the foliage on the maps. Environments felt more natural.

The tanks have more style to them and are better representations of their real life counterparts and in scale it felt. Soviet tanks looked like they were meant to be, rough slabs of metal welded together. Also the models were "bulkier".

The physics felt a little off, the tanks feel somewhat light. They where too fast to move from the spot, at one time the entire KV jumped up when a small rock or edge came near it.

Hard to conclude on beta (alpha?) gameplay but first impressions seem like it will be more arcade like. I do like the style of the game, the tanks have character. The maps look great and the interface and blur effects make it look a little like some sort of Battlefield esque shooter.

More important part will be the gameplay. WoT has captivated with its solid gameplay more than anything.

they admited that they need to fix those physics (add weight to tanks)
tanks are in early alpha
those gameplays are all arcade games so tanks are easyer to play (and they reload much faster), they will add tanks to historical and full real battles later where they'll behave realistic as possible
I'm giving up from WoT...they had their chance...now that there's a replacement for shitty wargaming's game FU wargaming... I liked tanks but not WoT cause it's an unrealistic arcade game AND it has a crappy engine that lags like hell (uses only one core in 2013)
and you just cant complain about physics of those tanks in war thudner in early alpha cause WoT got it's physic not so long ago (and they are not the that good)  :teethhappy:
