Miss my Tee-Fiddy-Too. Flying through the air with the greatest of ease, wicked tankers in their flying machines!
Have to say though I find the MT-25 not too bad. Pretty good view range, nippy enough when it gets up to speed, I've won a fair few battles with it. I'll struggle to replicate the 58% win ratio of the T-50-2 though.
Gun is very definitely UP. Feels just OK and has very low alpha. Took me about 10 mins to try and circle kill a T29. In the end I left him on 10%, got fed up trying to finish him off and drove off to find other targets. :)

I always hate it when they remove tanks for no viable reason...

I never had a T-50-2 but it was fun seeing them drive (the good drivers that is) with all their quirky manouvres, i also wanted to get myself one but i put my priorities in grinding elsewhere, maybe better so
cause now i don't know what i'm missing.

the T-50-2 the only tier 5 tank that could get away with getting hit by a BL-10 3 times in a row and not die

it was a good tank (never played it) and i really hated the bugger but hating it just points out that it's a good tank. mt-25 is just a sad replacement.

My sig only a few posts above you...

Maybe I should redo it and make it more fetching, i.e. spend more than 5 mins on it. Or maybe you just need glasses! :P

Ah, thanks, didn't know about it.

About the sig, yeah maybe try black font on white background. :)

Had over 3k games with this pocket rocket.  Win or loose always put a smile on your face.  Nothing else in game would put the fear into arty like the t 50 2 did. Sadly missed but never forgotten...

T-50-2 is the king, but mt-25 is not that bad either.

I liked the t50-2, and i understand why they removed it because it was a little OP in speed/turning. When the t50-2 got replaced with the MT-25 i had my doubts. It is still not a bad tank but the MM he gets is pretty awefull. When playing the MT-25 you end up in tier XI our X rounds 90 % of the time. Even then ok its a scout so no problem. The problem is the maps and enemy tanks where i have to drive the MT-25. I get a lot, and i mean A LOT, of city maps with Tier IX and X as the highest tier. So scouting....useless. Considering the changes to arti, your lucky if you have a round with arti in the teams, because thats its strenght right ? Scouting for arti.
If they would change the MM setting, it can be fun playing this tank again. So MM against more open maps, MM with arti. Even then you encounter tier IX and X but thats no problem at all.
Just my 2 cents

*sniff* *sniff* it was a great tank, I never got it, but I wanted it. It and the Chaffee were probobly the best high tier scouts you could ask for. While the chaffee was a passive scout, the T-50-2 was an active scout, skidding around those shells like a boss, getting round that lonely heavy. It was the ying to the chaffees' yang.

Rest in peace, T-50-2, Gods' speed you get put back in. :honoring:

Yeah I'm still trying to have fun with the MT-25 but it's very hard. WG wanted to promote passive scouting, but even at that it is pretty hard to play, spotted too easily. And one or too shots later u are dead.

Only times I did good is when I get really really lucky and ALL shots missed me.

The alternative is to wait hidden till the very end :/

I didnt drive the T-50-2 much cause i was in love with the T50. Nothing beats the rush of drifing towards multiple enemys firing like a madman, driftpark to one of them for cover while the other try to shoot thru the poor bugger. i racked up a lot lucky medals in that thing, and i hate seeing it sitting crippled in my garage.

that mt25 thing is shit. there is absolutely no point in this thing excet being a weakspot for the team.

MT-25 as a replacement to T-50-2 (R.I.P.) is like going to a funeral after your own birthday party.
It sucks, doesn't it?

Currently, there are no Soviet scouts (excluding BT-7) in the game.

Yep, I just remember those days of the three tier 5 scouts, were every battle of tier 8+ was spammed by arty, and eyes of every E100 were on you. I remeber also a LT dogfights, were I was fooling around in my Chaffiee with T50-2, and those dogfights were so cool That I thought that everyone stops fighting just to see our "ballet"

If you miss the mobility and troll factor of T50-2, I strongly recommen the ELC. This one wasnt nerfed at all, it survived many patches in its former shape.

I play since the May of 2011, and I never had any T-50. But i miss them too. They were so funny speedfreaks of the battlefield as they flied among the other tanks. It was challenging to shoot at them. The best was their unusual skills to appear anywhere (including top of buildings and such), they always made me stop my tank, and leaved me thinking "how did that little bugger get up there?".

Played a few games in it and liked it very much (though I'm an arty-player). I bet it was already mentionned here, but why don't we try to collect those 300k signatures we need to introduce a tank? there was a Q&A on FTR where SerB (or Storm) said that if you propose a tank and get 300k signatures from player, WG would put it (back) into the game.

Now, let's ask WG how we have to collect those signatures, by posrep, leaving a message in the forums or such...

Of course we would have advertise the T-50-2 across the world (with Youtube for example) so that players from RU, NA, SG (and dunno what other servers are on) could also take part at it. Who knows, maybe the community might win this one on WG? It seems idealistic but we can still try it, all we want is our T-50-2 back the way it was, we don't want to hear stuff like "It was unhistorical as hell", while they hide the T28 Proto under their wing.

It's time for a Revolution!

Unfortunately I have never seen T-50-2 in all its glory, but I watched some videos on YouTube and must say I was really impressed. It reminded me of a lighter and more agile version of Batchat which can run away from pretty much any situation. I wish there were scouts like these left, because right now I am feeling rather gimped in my AMX 13 75 (and 13 90 for that matter too) as it loses in terms of manoeuvrability and speed to Tier IX and X mediums easily, yet you find yourself in such matches very often.

I bet WG removed T-50-2, because of the whiners who then demanded arties to be nerfed and now TDs. Soon they will cry about mediums, because once TDs are nerfed mediums will reign supreme on any battlefield and then only fat and slow heavies will be left who will be poke their slow nose out from a corner, unload their shell into another fat heavy bouncing off his angled armour, and lumber back to their cover...

Yeah I still can't understand the fun ppl can have with TDs. Always in the way at the start ... running 50m and hide. Then wait, wait, wait, & shoot. At least with arty their is some skill involved, and much more since the "big nerf".

BTW I regret even more T50 than T50-2. I had so much fun with its drifting and climbing.

T50-2 I didn"t master, too fast for my PC ;)
