We've probably heard this argument before and why some people believe the console is the "future" and bla bla bla. So out of Computers and Consoles, which do you prefer using?

Consoles, because 1) there I don't have to worry whether my old console's hardware is good enough to run the games and 2) nearly no hackers, unlike on PC, where every single game which isn't either 100% serverside or complete garbage is full of hackers. And since I'm not really interested in anything but PVP the hacker infestation is a major letdown on PC and limits me to the very few games that are 100% serverside and playable (World of Tanks, League of Legends and that's about it)

No mouse and keyboard supported games on consoles... no sale (I like playing strategy/world building games, which are nigh impossible to play with crappy controllers with sticks)
.
Consoles are great for future development of PC's though (look at how fast AMD/ATI will progress since both Xbone and PS4 use their hardware...)

My answer is only PC. Consoles have no games that i prefer to play. Maybe I could play Heavy Rain, Red Dead Redemption and thats it.
No Starcraft2, Europa Universalis, Crusader Kings, no DCS, no War Thunder, World of Tanks, no Arma III etc...
I play games a lot, so I decided to spend my money on good hardware (i7 4770k + 2xGTX760 SLI) and I don't need consoles any more...  It's better for me to improve my heavy custom box with 12 fans than spend any more money on little worthless gadgets like PS4 or Xbone.

Xbox 360 - World of Tanks
PS4 - War Thunder
Also I prefer the PC because of Star Citizen.

Also, one reason why consoles beat the crap out of PCs: Grand Theft Auto. There hasn't been a single good PC port since GTA went 3D, it's just unplayable on PC.

3 and Vice City were quite playable when they came out on PC.

Anyway, people expect too much from software writen for subpar hardware (consoles).
If you "up" the settings beyond original specs, you get extreme performance loss.

Play GTA IV with the same settings as the PS3 uses (720p, not half of modern lighting and shading settings etc. etc.) and it will run smoothly on my system (X6 @3.2, HD4890 1GB, 4GB DDR2 when I played IV)

The good thing about consoles is they're cheap (when compared to a gaming pc) and games developers know everyone's got the same system specs so know how the game's going to look.

Another bonus for games consoles is that developers only have one set of system specs to work with. With that they have to push the system to its fullest.  Pc's have nee graphics cards coming out all the time so delevopers jump ship to the new technology.
