So, a few of us have been running a small experiment on saturday and sunday evenings. We take a full company of British Tanks out and have some fun

The results have been surprisingly good with a > 50% winrate achieved!

Here is one of our battles, and a full highlights reel will follow later!

Did you try champion or absolute? Tier 6 is a strong tier for British tanks.

I agree.
Cromwell=awesome
TOG II=awesome
FV304=awesome
AT-8= pretty ok
BUT. Tier 6 is same time ''weak'' tier too
Churchill VII (mostly because stupid armor)
Churchill GC (im not trolling, i enjoyed that tank because its gun)

If the FV215B (heavy) is a good tank which sadly is held back due to it's abnormally low camo value (Ferdi, JPZ2 and JT have more than twice as high base camo).

The Matilda is also a great tank, low speed but great everything else.

We've only done all Matilda companies twice, we won both, but the second was surprisingly close. It was also assault, so we came very close to running out of time.

Like all trees the Brits have their gems and their duffers.  I think the biggest problem is with the TDs (AT-2 possibly excluded).  These seemed awesome when they first came out, but now everyone knows where all the huge frontal week spots are and their survivability is not what it once was.

But overall, pretty balanced I would say.  Except T10 where they all suck.

Sadly I can't take responcibility for the idea, that falls to Duncham1, who came up with this brilliant bit of silly fun!

I find Centurion 7/1 and Comet to be two outstanding tanks of the medium line, probably of the entire tree. Cromwell can be fun, but overall it's a design full of weaknesses.

Then you will find our All Cromwell battles interesting

BTW all lining up together on the edge of the map in the Magic forrest is not a valid tactic vs a 10 Cromwell rush.

That's probably the best way to play the Cromwell, in a pack.

well i do play brits right now the td's. I have the Heavy tank already and I want to do all lines up to tier 10 . the tier 10 heavy is awesome if you can find places to hide your body great pen and awessome rate of fire + the best heavy accuracy of all nations, The td's till now are awesome I have at15 tier 8 and cannot wait to get to tier 10 which some say it is overpowerd but I dissagreea ( low rate of fire bad armour and hesh as premium shels ) after that I will make the meds since I have almost everything reaserched from heavy tree. My opinion The brits have verry good tanks on all tiers but you  must know how to play them

Well,
I have many tier 10 tanks. One of my favorites is the FV 215b 183mm.
I just today had a kill shot on a T57, showing his upper turret......from 670 meters.
This tank is just so good if you know how to play it decently.
And its one of the few tier 10 tanks you will make heaps of credits with if you use standard AP.
But its all about the Hesh of course, but the AP will have at times much higher average damage.
Beautiful tank.
Now going up the medium tree and after driving cromwell for a while I will just free exp my way to Cent 1. Cant be asked with Comet especially since 1 more crew member.
Love my Batchat, my M48 Patton and I well I do like my Leopard 1. The T57 is a blast to play with.
But my FV 183mm, just brings satisfaction like no other tank ever did.
Still I love meds and want to run with the british mediums due to their ROF on guns, nice pen, good manouverability, sure top speed is not there but manouverability is often much more important then being able to zip across the field.
Other T10s in my garage: IS4, IS7, T110E05, T110E04, Object 261
Add in some Tier9s soon to be t10s (E75, Object 704 etc).
Still......
FV 215B 183mm....learn to play it, and it has pin point accuracy up to 400-500 meters, and it hurts:-)
Love those big kabooms.
Brits got bad tier 10 tanks? Not at all, but they take more experience and skill to drive then for example the russians or german heavies.
US heavies takes more experience as well.
PS: The FV4202 Brit tier 10 Med is one of the most fearful meds out there in my opinon, if the driver is good. This tank is just so damn good.

Went for the brits with no expectation and they proved me wrong. They're not perfect but i had the easiest grinds with them. Although i don't play them well  i just love the Cromwell, Conqueror, Caernarvon and the Comet(looking forward for the Centurion)  :playing: . Td line is weird  but still ok.
So to answer you question : NO  i don't find that the brits suck  :teethhappy:

The meds are ok some are rellay good like cromwell comet and centurion mk7/1 cant say much about the t10 yet only played 1 battle but it turns faster then the t9 with overall better stats so its awsome the tds where all good tortoise felt a bit op caus of awsome gun the t10 breaks with the line caus of high alpha and low rate of firer but hey u kill t9s wiht 1 shot so who cares :D
Forgot the brit arty everyone is different most fun is the t6 caus of its insane speed and loading time and acc the t7 was also awsome the t8 is nothing special but its nice to play dont have t9 ore 1o yet

Love these, and are keepers:-
Cruiser IV
Crusader,
Matilda
Cromwell
Comet......

and most of all the FV304, my one true love. If I've had a bad day in WoT, then the FV304 makes it all OK.
