Good evening ladies and gentlemen, newbies and noobs, padders and clubbers, ghosts and trolls.

This won't come as a news flash to many of you, but it's something that has struck a chord with me lately; something that I've seen in myself and in platoonmates, and from reading posts on the forum.

If you're not in the mood to play tanks, just don't.

That doesn't, however, mean "uninstall", it just means simply don't play. And for gods sake, don't go on the forums to rage about it, even the (intentionally) funniest topics get little sympathy.

We all get a bit fed up with this game now and then for all the usual reasons, and for me, playing when I don't really want to usually ends in an unsatisfying win, or a complete fail-fest punctuated by moments of platoonmate/team rage or self-loathing (or plain old denial, which is worse imo).

So I'm going to make a conscious effort to listen to my inner-commander from now on. If I'm not in the mood to play, I won't, simples.

There are plenty of movies to watch, books to read, women to kiss, dogs to walk, and when you've finished reading a few movies or kissing a few dogs, the battlefield will be a rosier place and you'll probably have funner games and be a gooder player when you come back.

While the advice is sound and reasonable, it fails because the very people who it is aimed at often seem to consider themselves as the center of the world, and for some reason assume everyone wants to know what they are doing.

I blame facebook about this phenomena.

Of course, by stating that I already somehow assume everyone here wants to know what i am thinking, and become part of the problem.
Damn, this is a hard one. :teethhappy:

The wife lets me compensate my lack of lapdancers with extra portions of alcohol, balance is restored.

I tend to cycle between the games I play.

>> WORLD OF TANKS > (Saturation) > WARTHUNDER > (Frustration) > PLANETSIDE 2 > (More frustration) > LEAGUE OF LEGENDS > (Saturation) >>

It's a decent advice. If you don't feel like playing, don't play. Otherwise it will be painful.
