I came across this while i was reading FTR
- apparently, Waffenträgers might come out the way they are now on the test, but Veider (the head of tank balancing department) actually states that it will be 100 percent necessary to buff WT E-100
Don't believe it read it yourself http://ftr.wot-news....13-2/#more-4313
Apparently it a buff to the reload

It's pretty easy to believe it.

Dont know what to buff...
Magazine reload time?
Gun shield cannot be buffed because of too much weight on gun mount itself.

I suspect he may well be right. It's definitely not overpowered, overannoying maybe, but not overpowered and in the current meta-environment it will have massive survivability problems.

Not surprising, they have to make it better, so more players spend their $$$ grinding it. Regarding balance gameplay wise... who cares, money doesn't stink.

Have you forgotten the new tank formula?

Make an overperofrming tank.
Many start to go for it, spend money.
After 2 months you hit it with a nerf bat.

People think it's overpowered now because everyone's playing paper tanks on the test servers as we speak (with all the premium consumables galore). I doubt the vanilla waffle-troller would perform so well under normal circumstances.

It's a gorgeous machine with AP on the stock gun
-
one gun for DPM and godlike accuracy and aim time
-
one gun for throwing cheap HE , you still clip heavies in 9 seconds for 10k profit ( or more if you spot yourself , 420 view range )
just take a second to compare it to T57: no turret armor for both
aaaand that's it , the WTF is better in all other regards

Astronomical difference.

The T57 can hold a group of tanks at medium range, because enemies know how fast and powerful it unloads and that it will reload before they get there and if through some miracle they're alive, they won't out DPM it, TDs and this particular case aren't like that, people generally don't want to get damaged but if it needs to be done, they'll just swarm you even if one of them goes down. I don't know what you think WT E100 is, but I noticed you don't have Foch 155 so I can tell you that you aren't even close to understanding them, besides, you aren't even a TD player at all.

Fear of having your tank's paint scratched by a new tank is a little...childish, don't you think?

I ran the mentioned tanks trough the test server, it was more then enough to give me the general feel of each one.

The WTF is going to be my first high tier TD.

Shells can go straight trough the hole in the turret if you point the gun right , it's madness.

-----

As far as my tank collection goes, it's limited by me getting bored of "campy" play at high tiers and over all low skill play at low tiers, so i play less then I'd like. And I sure as heck am not going to start grinding the french TD line ... now ... with this beast on the horizon.
