Why?

It is the only game which i kept playing without any brake/pause...
Always at least 1 battle per day (except holidays maybe 1week).
And I like the mechanics here, it is absolutely free2play in my opinion. A lot of great specials every week, too.
And the possibility to get gold for free by ESL/tournaments.

this game is BEST for ever for me :D

Wot is not exactly a game, it is a game engine and the "game" is made by players.
Except the fact i was fascinated to own a tank, the game experience depend to much by teams .
And for a teambased game, the random fights are pure bullsh**...
It is laggy, full of bugs, even with top pc spec i still can't run it smoothly with full config.
Graphics are outdated, sounds are from the stone age, crew voices are annoyng...
I rate it 6 .
I wait for WT to launch their tanks game to make a proper comparison, but fo farr WT is a state of the art...

Because the game is not perfect to get a ten, it has issues which need to be fixed:
1.they could buff arty a little bit (there are way more TD's then before)
2.Game engine (even if I run AC 3,BF 3 on max I get 20-30 FPS on WoT)
3.They could buff german tanks a bit
That would be that at least from my perspective everything else is fine the economy (the game is not pay2win), this game is way more free2play then other games that use this free2play title, I play it for 3 years (the only game that I played that long were the games from GTA series) and its not boring at all

On a scale 0 to 10 I rate this game as
log( Sin2 x + cos2 x) + ln ( ex)
where X is your personal interest to this game on scale 0 < x < 10.
But just like in this game, you have to work out the exact value yourself.
Edit: Stupid mistake in formula

I would rate it 10/10 in CW companies when you fight real enemies, but the NPCs/BOTs they made in randoms suck. They AI needs to be buffed. So 3/10 for randoms.

Due to the fact that there are only a few CWs/tank companies per day: 6/10

8/10.

The servers could be better. Game should be more optimised. Shameful I have better FPS on more recent game than on WoT.  Gameplay on higher tiers needs a slight rebalance (I'm looking at you TD's), but overall WoT is a fun and enjoyable game :)

I can't just rate it by pure numbers. I'm just gonna say that I love to play WoT, but it has its flaws as well as it can be really annoying from time to time.

Impossible to rate.

At the moment, with only 2 wins out of 16 games (despite scoring approx 3x own hit points in almost all games with meds & hvys, mostly when lower tier) it's a 1 out of 10. XXXXing stupid XXXXing XXXXole NOOBS!
Ordinarily though, prob 6 out of 10. It would be much higher but the maps are too small, too many choke points, the spotting mechanism seems totally broken (tired of fighting invisible Russian heavies like KV2's within 100m's that remain invisible while firing), the expensive high tier premiums are left to rot into trash coz they are not rebalanced inline with tech tree buffs and so erode from power-creep, and the game desperately needs some skill balancing in MM - not the 7 v 7 where all players are of roughly equal skill, I mean in 15 v 15 randoms so that there are roughly the same amount of good and not so good players on each team within each tier and type of tank present.
I live in hope that WG will get it's act together and fix these things.
EDIT - I do love this game, but it's needless shortcomings are so frustrating. If they buffed the Lowe's 10.5cm L70 aim time & rof so it was same as on the King Tiger's 10.5cm L68 (meaning the Lowe would still be sub-par to the KT due to it's armour etc) I would be much happier. But as it is, with the Lowe's worse stats compared to the KT in almost every area, since the nerf to credit income the Lowe has lost it's only purpose and having spent so much real money on it, the neglect WG has shown toward it has left me feel really quite jaded.

I'd give it a 9 out of 10.......Highly addictive , mostly enjoyable and completely free to those that don't want to spend any cash.  My biggest dislike being the sometimes bonkers MM system.

well you did not rate the game, you just created a formula to use....

BTT: I rate it 8.5 out of 10 even if its the only game i am playing srsly at the moment. Why only 8.5? Its not perfect!

I played egoshooter before. Quake/Doom in the beginning with CoD later on. Still having a look into UrT(a Quake 3 Mod) from time to time, but im getting too old....reflexes...

Since it clearly doesn't deserve anything under 5 and yet doesn't quite deserve a 7, 8, 9 or 10 for me, I would say it lies somewhere in the region of 5, 6. The reason it loses 4 top end points are because of the very poor MM, the dodgy RNG system, poor graphics engine and the attitude of the devs toward fostering good dev / player relations and sincerity.
What it now officially gets from me is either a 5 or 6. So what shall it be then?
Now this all depends on my current point of view based on my emotional attachment to the game and how I fair in the game on a daily basis, so if I have a bad day it loses a point (at the time of voting) and a good day similarly it gains a point.
I haven't played today and I'm reluctant to rely solely on up-scaling my vote to a +1 based on my reasonably good game results yesterday since I know how things can change from one day to the next in randoms, but given that I feel optimistic for tonight's gaming, I'll up-scale it anyway based on the probability I may actually have some real fun this evening.
So my end vote is a high scoring 6/10.
It's a great game and given what it represents for the genre it is one of a kind (currently), but we have no yardstick to measure it by. We will soon though in Warthunder and then we'll be able to compare the two. Hopefully more devs will catch up and realise the true potential of tank warfare games of the online multiplayer type and we can choose from a few more. After my 24k games I feel this is a fair assessment, but my own personal one of course so don't be all nancy about it  :blinky:

Varies, some days it is 3/10 for pure painfulness. Other days it is 9/10 losing 1 due to bad mm and bad teams which are more common than water in an ocean.
