There should be restriction to buying premium tanks. Like, you must have 3k games palyed before you can purchase a premium tank, or something like that.

Do you honestly think Wargaming would cut off a source of income? Could be a unicum player making a stat pad account. That Lowe could have carried the entire team for all you know....

At first I was thinking the same as you, but now I get more pissed off when I see tier X whit 25k and more battles whit wn6 of 20 - 30
For those who buy tier 8 prem tanks whit less then 1000 battles I know I can't depend. Those [edited]whit high number of battls who play like first time in game need to get punished
For me that amx 50 100 is bigger noob then zhat Lowe and jagdtiger 8.8
Sry for bad english

Don't complain, you still had better chance to win
Btw, limitations will never happen, as Wargaming gets the most of the money just from these tomatoes.

Not complaining about the 9k battle 46% Lowe on the other team I see.
.
Hmmmm....
.
In fact, his T110E5 stats are living proof that playing the game is no guarantee of learning anything.
.
Oops, sorry spoke to soon, there is a guy in your team with 5k battles and an even lower win rate in T110E5.

This fine whine thread was dedicated to gold tanks who dont even have other tier 8 tanks and generally im far more concerned about 9k lowe's 700eff then his win rate.

You shouldn't be able to buy a gold tank two tiers higher than your regular tanks. In my opinion it's just bad game design.

I bought my first T8 premium when I had T6 tank max (VK36, I think). That's where credits troubles are starting (it takes a long time to gather credits for the next vehicle).

And it was last chance to buy Loewe for 7500 gold  :hiding:

But what's the problem when we already proved that playing does not equal learning.

Are you paying attention.

The guy with the Lowe on the other team has 9k battles and has 500 in a T110E5 and his win rate on the T110E5 alone is 39% yet according to your rules it would be fine for him to have bought the Lowe but not the new player.

So what is your argument against new players buying tier 8 premiums?  Because clearly it cannot be anything to do with learning the game as you play because this guy has proved you can get to tier 10 and play worse than someone just starting out.

9k lowe driver - sat/botted trough 8k games got e5 started playing it, realized he cant even afford to repair it, got a premium tank. Or is actually mentally challenged.
new player - plays 10 games in tier 1 tank, thinks ''this is lame, i saw on youtube bigger tanks'' buys a premium tank and has no idea how to do anything.
In both cases they are useless to the team, but to see 0 or 1k games on, for example, lowe is so so much more annoying, cause with 9k game lowe and hes 700eff i can at least imagine that maybe his a mentally challenged child who at least played and didnt say screw it and bough a tank.

You are still not explaining why the 9k player has any more right to buy a tier 8 premium than the new player.
.
As for why, they see it the same as buying any video game, you buy a tier 8 premium and just play rather than grind.  I know a few people who did it that way and you wouldn't be able to pick any of them out by their stats today, some are bad, some are good.  Just like the rest of the server population.
.
Could be worse, they could just buy an account off ebay with tier 10 tanks on it already.

Why do people do this.. well from my own experience... I played WoT for quite a bit and even though I've been taking it slow, I've managed to play my way to T-9 in 4 or 5 branches at the same time and I really enjoy tiers 6-8 the most I think. One day, a friend of mine asks me... hey, you play WoT, right? What's it like?
So being the nice person, I was all, oh it's great and I really like it and I've played it a lot and all the good stuff, then my friend says, cool, I'm downloading it now!
Now I am thinking >.< Why did I have to say anything, the idea of driving T1 tanks and explaining how the stuff in the game works because he is obviously going to ask me to play with him doesn't really excite me... So I told him to buy a T8 premium heavy. It was a lot more fun than grinding our way through tiers 1-5 would have been, I am sure. That way, telling him something about how the game works was actually a lot of fun.

Saying it simple... 0k driver with premium tank will most likely drive of a cliff cause he cant figure out how to turn his tank, that 700eff 9k will camp in base or drive straight over the map to spot the enemy and die but he will at least spot or shoot some moving red target while in base.

But you can't say either of those with any certainty.
.
I'd really love to know how you get a 34% win rate in a T110E5, did I say 34%? I meant 39% after 500 battles, you would need to be doing something seriously detrimental to your team, like maybe driving off a cliff because you can't figure out how to turn your tank, or maybe shooting the green ones.

Doesnt matter, if you dont have at least tier 8 tank you cant buy a premium tank, at least it should be like that.

But why?

I've just proved you can suck after 9k battles and owning a tier 10.  It really does not make any sense to exclude new players because they might take 2 battles to figure out the controls.  Which on the evidence available is the only difference between a 9k noob and a 0k newbie.

Because its annoying, dont buy a tank and learn your ways then, grind and learn as everyone else did.

Why do I do it, well that would be because I can and if it makes you angry in the process then that makes me even more happy.

Do I give a rats ass about my win rate or efficiency, the hell I do I play to have fun and if you won't like it and want to cry about it well go ahead I really couldn't give a damn other than sampling your delicious tears.
